On the UFO videos:
I donât know what to think.
But I do remember how to dream and Iâm letting myself believe using those videos. God I want it to be true.
I woke up with like 30 new followers from UFO Twitter. Thanks for the shout out @LimitsOfControl. I canât wait for all of these new followers to eventually block me after working out that I donât LARP the UFO subject like everyone else.
On another note, anyone notice that folks like @EricRWeinstein @robinhanson and @BrianRoemmele have all taken up an interest in UFOs?
Does Intellectual Twitter know something the rest of us donât? đ¸
Interesting. I didn't realize this is something Eric was starting to take a public interest in.
Amongst many other examples, but here is one today:
@BridgetPhetasy @joerogan Ah! The old Phetasy mind trick.
âThe Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.â
-Obi Wan Kenobi
Hmmm. Not really an example of being into UFOs....
A better example â¤ď¸
I donât know what to think.
But I do remember how to dream and Iâm letting myself believe using those videos. God I want it to be true.
Yes I want it to be true. As do most of us. But still not the same as being into UFOs.
The truth is I donât know what to think.
Agreed. I should have said âmildly interestedâ at best. đť

You simplistic corporate sons of bitches.
@jason_pontin Ok. The âoverwhelming consensusâ on the etiology of ulcers? Economists on The âGreat Moderationâ?
I mean I thought that the idea of Pentagon videos of UFOs was total bullshit.
Life just isnât about consensus. And overwhelming does nothing for this American STEM PhD.
Pentagon confirms leaked photos and video of UFOs are legitimate https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/apr/16/pentagon-ufos-leaked-photos-uap
I do wish people would understand that GU is rather serious and what it is attempting to say with new particle predictions, geometric possibilities and additional *temporal* dimensions.
Even if you assume it is wrong, it is the only attempt of its kind of which I am aware.
As I said before, I have no idea what to make of the UAP shift of our government. But I do know that this period is unlike *any* other epoch. And there are many *different* unprecedented things that could happen so close to the source code as we have been for 50 to 75 years.
The number of higher credibility officials or former officials choosing to walk right up to, yet generally not over, the line of confirming alien encounters via UAP has changed markedly.
I have always avoided UFO discussion. This makes that impossible:
https://https://marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2020/12/john-o-brennan-on-ufos.html
At this point, the story I am tracking isnât âLittle Green Menâ. It is âOfficials inexplicably change course on UFO narrativeâ.
Also, the story about âTechnology never before seen.â Would make more sense with âTechnologyâ replaced by âPhysicsâ.
The US/Europe seriously diverted attention from doing real theoretical physics almost 40 years ago in 1984 to explore physics inspired mathematics. Did China/Iran/Russia/Israel? I donât know.
But I can tell you this: no one in government is appropriately focused on new physics.
Imagine in 1900 some âcrankâ told you about thermonuclear weapons. Would you listen or laugh? Well, theyâd be only 5 decades away with no aliens necessary. And powered flight hadnât happened yet!
Thatâs how powerful a ânew physicsâ advantage is. Weâre behaving like lunatics.
Any time ANYONE at least 1/2-way viable says something weird or kooky or interesting (Wolfram, Lisi, etc.) the cost of a Department of Energy 1hr phone call is negligible. Almost no one with that background says anything like this. Maybe less than 1 such PhD âlunaticâ per year.
Do I think Wolfram, Lisi, Kaku, Smolin, Klee Irwin, Sarfatti, Woit/Penrose etc are right or on the doorstep of new physics? No! But Itâs also totally irrelevant to the security risk.
It wouldnât matter to me at all. I would check in with all of them: the cost is zero. The risk?
The thing I like least about Geometric Unity is not being able to know what it would unlock if true, any more than Einstein and Bohr understood Lise Meitner, Stan Ulam & Edward Tellerâs weaponization of New Physics.
We are talking about UFOs while not worrying about New Physics.
Think about the g-2 muon anomaly. Have you heard as much about that suggesting the possibility of New Physics from high precision (rather than high energy) as you have about the TicTac UAP?
Similarly, how often do you hear about UAP technology rather than physics issues. Right??
I have no idea what to make of the change in the UAP narrative. What I can tell you with certainty is that for such an ENORMOUS change in the narrative there is no sane explanation for the DOE not to be talking new physics risks and taking every one of the few claims seriously.
As we saw over & over in the 20th century, any small change in physics can change everything almost overnight. From A-Bombs to Semiconductors.
The handful of PhD level claims are of negligible cost to investigate & dismiss compared to a single fighter jet.
DOE lost the plot.
Enough! Letâs get back to UFOs and space opera so we donât have to worry about China & Iran making a breakthrough on a white board in some lab we canât see.
Moral: if you take UFOs seriously but not the risk of new physics, you arenât thinking clearly.
Just think about it. đ
No one knows how to talk about this. It isnât our top headline.
My question is *how* is this not our top headline? Either the defense department is pranking the entire world or we have the largest dire security mystery on earth or we have contact.
All 3 would be our top story.
When our experts now talk openly about all these UFOs they talk about their âtechnologyâ.
And every time they do, I replace the word âtechnologyâ with the word âphysicsâ for the obvious reasons. Because if non-terrestrial craft are here, physics > technology.
Imagine if these UAP were actually visitors from beyond the local solar neighborhood. You wouldnât be focused on their technology first. Youâd want to understand how they got here and if they used new physics to do so. Most importantly, youâd want to know about dimension hacking.
A key issue in Geometric Unity for me is whether additional temporal & spatial degrees of freedom are accessible or shielded from manipulation. But consider what 6 additional temporal dimensions or the ability to manipulate rulers and protractors fundamentally could yield.
We are somehow no longer worried about any new physics. We are so sure it wonât suddenly progress in an unexpected way or unlock anything new that we arenât even paying attention to the field. After String Theory it all feels ironic.
This is potentially a *catastrophic* mistake.
Every threat against a head of state is taken seriously. Even the absurd ones. It is cheaper to dot a few âiâs and cross a few âtâs than to not worry about such threats.
Obviously.
UAP, Gain Of Function, New Physics, MANPADS, loose nukes, etc should be the same.
Obviously.
You can recover a surprising amount from just one simple statement: UAP, public health, standardized testing, immigration, mortgage backed securities, crypto, inflation methodology, String Theory, Aaron Swartz, Etc.
âInstitutions do not have the right to gaslight individuals.â
In a certain sense, that is the main through-line of my politics. Any institution that gaslights an ordinary human trying to make sense of the world in a reasonable fashion is wrong to me in a particularly profound way.
Donât know how to describe this as a political perspective.
The mainstream (that dutifully reported this as a simple suicide story) are our cranks.
They told us not to wear masks when we needed to and then to wear them when we didnât.
They told us UFOs werenât real but tell us they are now real.
And that COVID came from a wet market...
The two Bureau of Prisons workers tasked with guarding Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself in a New York jail have admitted they falsified records, but they will not serve prison time under a deal with federal prosecutors. https://apnews.com/article/business-government-and-politics-3a0b465c080e1b0a53ce15315179d542
Clearly: We need to decrankify our mainstream.
We need to purge our institutions of our *mainstream* cranks (or Knarcs). We cannot run a nuclear and economic superpower with geopolitical rivals in this way with fake leadership lying to the public 24/7 about almost everything.
We should marvel at what the Pentagon has achieved here:
A) We have now been *rapidly* habituated to the possibility of regular visits from aliens.
B) Itâs not our top story.
C) All the public evidence so far is low quality, and hence still technically deniable & retractable.
Iâd guess that weâre at some point soon going to be confronted by stunningly clear reconstructions of incidents with crystal clear video, and that we have a collective freakout ahead where weâll look back and marvel how they dribbled low quality video out to control our reaction.
A) We have now been *rapidly* habituated to the possibility of lab escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
B) Itâs not our top story.
C) All the public evidence so far is low quality, and hence still technically deniable & retractable.
You are getting ahead of me. I have a bunch of these... but yes. This is our new normal and needs discussion.
Folk wisdom to the contrary, we are somehow mildly pregnant with UFOs.
2019 US Navy warships were swarmed by UFOs; here's the RADAR footage that shows that. Filmed in the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha / July 15th 2019 / this is corroborative electro-optic data demonstrating a significant UFO event series in a warning area off San Diego.
Itâs very weird. Itâs ongoing titration of UFO declassifications so that we never wake up to hear âItâs little green men!â nor âWe figured out they were just seagulls covered in metallic flotsam.â
We just get pulled farther and farther out. Like a rip-tide you donât even notice.
Iâm not saying that the UAP/UFO stuff is đ˝. I am saying that weâre being *told* itâs đ˝ in a game.
The game: we present a mystery (UFOs) and then take away all but one option. If you guess *anything* but đ˝, we tell you it is de facto been ruled out.
Guess đ˝, and we shrug đ¤ˇââď¸.
This should be one of the major fronts of activism: Projection Mapping.
And: it sucks.
Itâs off center. Itâs not adapted to the façade. Itâs not very clever. Itâs not animated. It doesnât use beveling, angles, or other architectural features beyond the two dimensional.
Why?
I donât know why this is taking so long. I think that the problem may be that we are missing brain power in our activism by crowding out technical knowhow with mind numbing social justice falsehoods.
What if the protest was done by these people instead:
You could own your institutional nemesis on any given night.
Get a flash mob to dance in front of it. Make it brilliant. Leave zero damage. Shoot the entire caper and put it on YouTube.
Instead we came up âmostly peacefulâ protests and âno justice, no peace.â We need better.
Iâm sick of the violence. Iâm sick of the lame chants. Iâm sick of the lectures about how everything is problematic. And so are most people.
But Iâm not sick of genius, humor and people having fun who show the hard work and ability that translates to credibility for their ideas.
Historically it has helped to win hearts and minds when the protesters are smarter, wittier, and more *just* than those they oppose.
Letâs get back to that. Letâs make protesting failing institutions smart, uplifting, noble and courageous again. Might just work.
Just a thought.
Our National and military position on UAP/UFO in restricted military airspace makes no sense to me.
As in zero. Maybe I just donât get it but I really really donât get it. Can anyone make this make sense? Why is the leadership of the US scientific community totally absent?
The US isnât explaining or keeping secrets. We arenât debunking. We arenât defending ourselves. We arenât interested as a nation or even particularly curious. We arenât outraged. We do giggle a bit. We arenât debating. We arenât excited.
We are sleepwalking. As usual. Even here.
Iâve got nothing.
The declassified videos are, so far, very unimpressive to me. But the change in narrative is very impressive as are claims of sober military pilots.
The major evidence is still the Pentagonâs change in narrative until they stop playing footsie under the table.
The statement Iâm comfortable with:
I believe there is a faction of well meaning public spirited military people who have seen mountains of better data, who believe our military is regularly visited by non human tech and are pressuring others to roll out this thy incrementally.
Note: if you think this is Atlantis or future humans or Orca technology, choose âalienâ to this earth. There just werenât enough characters allowed. Sorry.
On UFO/UAP: note the absence of top physicists. Or scientists more generally. Or academicians more generally than that.
Any science fiction author would know to get our leading physicists, geometers, evolutionary biologists, linguists on this if itâs real. Ok, so where are they?
There has been a tiny response. Mostly we see military, ex-military and civilians UFO community commenting.
The number of top relevant academicians commenting is near zero. This is very odd because we know from the Manhattan project that you need to tap your academics. Thoughts?
The UAP data is all of ours. Not the militaryâs exclusively.
It is scientific data. It is physics data.
We need to get it to our physicists. Not just our aerospace companies & defense contractors.
The Institute for advanced study, fully informed, should be leading discussion.
@the_IAS > @LockheedMartin
This is ridiculous.
25000 of you answered. Almost 3 in 4 of you believe either that UFOs are a deliberate fabrication of the government and/or Next Generation US Tech, or from some previously unknown advanced civilization.
About 1 in 4 say the US is just incompetent (in error or being leapfrogged).
The poll ran for 3 days to decrease selection bias. It was stable from early on in the response patterns.
Over 2/5 of you have already gone to some form of alien explanation.
Even at this crude level I find this fascinating having run several of these Twitter polls in the past.
The poll was intended to force people to make a definite guess:
There is nothing real there (lying or incompetence)
There is something there (US tech)
There is something there (Adversaries).
There is something there (Aliens)
More characters would have helped, but not much.
But here is what I find fascinating: if 2/5 of us think this is Aliens, and 3/4 of us think the US is *baldly* lying on a matter of grave security, in possession of out of this world tech, or are being visited by advanced alien civilizationsâŚand UAP is still not the top story.
I personally have no idea whatâs going on. If I believe in my country then it is most likely aliens. If I disbelieve my country we are engaged in a lie that will soon collapse and destroy our trust and credibility even more.
Moral: get us US scientists our own US UAP data. Now.
My 1st tweet thread ever about UFO/UAP so far as I know was end of April of 2020.
So I am WAY late to this party.
Why? Because I thought this was all bullshit. I shutdown most every conversation until last year on this.
Why? Because it seemed obviously preposterous. I trusted.
On the UFO videos:
I never went through an X-files phase. No âChariots of The Godsâ or âAncient Aliensâ phase. Ever.
I canât even conceive of a world where this national strategy makes any sense.
The US can be occasionally ruthless. But just plain dumb? I still canât believe we are Keystone Cops.
Assume China.
Assume holograms.
Assume swamp gas and weather balloons.
Assume disinformation.
Assume incompetence.
Assume itâs our drones.
Assume PsyOp.
Assume itâs an attempt at distraction.
The story is groundbreaking no matter what is going on. This has never happened.
Ok. Letâs play it out. Iâm genuinely interested if I have this wrong & am open to being wrong. Iâll start.
Letâs agree video authenticated so far isnât very impressive. How are seemingly intelligent craft in restricted military airspace not a big deal for a thermonuclear nation?
This is a nonsense take from @EricRWeinstein.
It's an interesting story, how the legacy of George Knapp taking Harry Reid to a UFO conference in 1996 cascading into a giant distracting UFO flap in 2021. But it's not the top story in the world.
This will become clear.
Either we are lying at a previously unimaginable level (UFOs? Really??). Or our best trained observers are totally incompetent flying our most advanced planes loaded with the most advanced sensors. Or our adversaries leapfrogged us with drones or holograms. Or đ˝. Or something?
What is the least interesting version of this story Mick? Forget the videos so far authenticated. Thatâs not the interesting part. That could be BS. There are so few and they are so low quality I donât want to discuss them. I cede them for this discussion to you. Your take? đ
Here you present hyperbolic takes. But nobody needs to be lying. Pilots need only rarely to make mistakes (which they do). Sensors need to only occasionally not be perfect. No leapfrogging needs to have occurred if these reports do not resolve to amazing physical objects.
So your argument is that all of these reports/incidents are a small number of rare mistakes? I want to make sure I donât misunderstand you.
I agree that if there are a small number of rare mistakes itâs not a big deal. I agree that we should have expected some random reports.
The report lists 120 incidents. I expect them all to be very different, representing the range of things that can be unidentified. Some will be mistakes, some equipment issues, some simply low information, some possibly foreign incursions. I doubt any of them have great evidence.
So you believe that the number of incidents that have been experienced is limited to 120 that occur in the report?
I have been told it is far more extensive.
I've *been told* that serious people in the military cringe with embarrassment at this nonsense.
Of course there are more than 120. There's a long tail of low-quality UFO reports. They are not saving the best for later. The stuff in the classified annex is their best shot..
Letâs agree that 120 low quality incidents over 20 yrs is not very compelling. Thatâs one every two months on average over our entire military.
So you believe we have the cream of the crop? If so, itâs shocking that our top people have not shut this down. Total irresponsibility.
But not merely âwow this is dumbâ. Itâs irresponsibility around a thermonuclear military with thermonuclear geopolitical strategic rivals. Thatâs would be a HUGE deal.
Iâve appreciated your take. But laying off the âhyperboleâ type epithets: Is this what you are alleging?
Shut what down exactly? The problem here is that there's an intersection between the real issues of unidentified objects and the "Invisible University" folk. They have kind of been NOMA until 2017. We can't shut down real analysis (drones!). But we need to do a lot better.
Iâm not sure what is complex here.
Playing footsie with a UFO narrative that sounds like âUnknown drones appear to be routinely harassing our pilots in restricted US military airspace.â Is incredibly dangerous.
I would take that to be self-evident.
Thatâs a top story for sure.
Hereâs what I hear from you: âThe pentagon has lost control of a minor UFO dept. that is having fun with a UFO narrative that endangers us all by raising the Issue of Bokeh, Birds, Baloons, etc in a way that is one toggle switch away from foreign adversaries harassing USmil.â
Iâve ceded everything you asserted to get here. And the story you seem to favor is still ENORMOUS.
Yours seems to be a story of incompetent UFO LARPers taking over a sensitive geopolitical narrative with zero adult supervision in thermonuclear geopolitical rivalry. Yes?
Well, that escalated quickly. No, I don't think they took over a sensitive geopolitical narrative. I think a bit of their woo has leaked into actual deliberations, but the significance has been vastly inflated by the media. The Pentagon has said almost zero on this topic
The Pentagon is begrudgingly going along with the report, in part because it touches on real issues, but mostly because they have to do what the government tells them, and Chris Mellon had Rubio get that language in a bill.
Mick: youâre losing me. If the pentagon is going along with a woo narrative because woo and drones are now interwoven that is *HUGE*. You canât hybridize woo with thermonuclear rivals. I feel like you arenât listening to yourself. A destabilizing nuclear narrative is a big deal.
I remember when Nancy Reagan consulted an astrologer and also advised her husband. It was a big big deal. This dwarfs that.
I think you arenât taking the implications of your own points to their logical conclusions.
Dear @michaelshermer,
Thanks for this. Very sober. I myself also donât find the authenticated videos so far released compelling. But I do find your challenge of âno isolated discontinuous innovationâ quite interesting!
Might I propose a friendly debate among friendly skeptics?
Dear @EricRWeinstein Please see my argument for why UAPs cannot be foreign assets capable of physics & aerodynamics attributed to UAPs that if true would be decades or centuries ahead of us. History shows no nations/companies of comp development so lag. https://quillette.com/2021/06/03/understanding-the-unidentified/
First of all, I am concerned that the paradigm of being scientifically or technologically âcenturies aheadâ is all wrong. This came up in a phone call with our buddy @SamHarrisOrg.
Q: How many centuries ahead is 1952-3 from 1900? Iâd have guessed âmanyâ (not .5) and been wrong.
Next challenge: doesnât your line of reasoning prove that âRenaissance Technologiesâ is either a fraud or a front? Their Medallion Fund is otherwise a long term unbreached secret, discontinuous from any other know investment fund seemingly thousands of years ahead of competitors.
Now Iâve had the odd question about Renaissance (front not fraud) for just this reason. But either way, itâs either a counter example to your claims on discontinuous innovation if it is merely a fund or a counter-example to your secrecy claims if it is our secret physics program.
Next: there are really two metrics on innovations.
Metric I: How big the incremental jump in difficulty.
Metric II: How big the jump in what is unlocked.
The great fear is that a small jump measured by 1 leading to an ENORMOUS jump in as measured by II.
You are, to me, arguing powerfully that certain people canât exist: Rodney Mullen, Edward Van Halen, Bob Beamon, Dick Fosbury, Hiroji Satoh, Satoshi Nakamoto, etc.
They all exhibited the âa little unlocks a lotâ paradigm with Zero-Day exploits that were each decisive.
And that brings us to theoretical physics. Beginning around 1982 , the son of the worldâs top employed anti-gravity researcher(?!) of the 1950s turned in what may be the most impressive 15yr output in the history of the subject by my estimation. How can I begin to explain this?
Itâs not physics exactly. But Edward Witten w support from a small number of folks rewrote Quantum Field Theory as geometry. If Einstein geometrized gravity, then Witten geometrized Quantum Field theory (everything else).
Now, all that change has so far unlocked exactly nothing.
But itâs not that nothing happened in physics. While we were pretending that string theory was working, Witten & Co revolutionized our mathematical framework. Think of it as an enormous amount of unrealized gains. Pent up genius & power looking for its 1st application to the đ.
Now let me show you how I could get discontinuous innovation if I were China or Russia. I donât know those systems as well so Iâll use the US example.
We know most of the top minds. We pretend that there is a lot of subjectivity about this for social reasons but China wouldnât.
If I thought like CCP, Iâd create a lavish secret theoretical physics program modeled on the Russian Sharashka system. The key would be to get it to look like something else. A boring Tech company or some weird Chinese fund to disguise the reason for the secretive lavish campus.
[Digression: If the US were smarter, weâd do it by setting up a mythic secret $B hedge fund that employs top differential geometers, theoretical physicists & ML experts by a national lab & an off brand university w/ inexplicably strong geometry & physics. But enough crazy talk..]
If CCP could today repeat what Witten (& friends) did building off Geometric Quantum Field Thy, the US would have Zero clue what it unlocks. Even by your own incrementalist theory. It might unlock absolutely nothing. Or passage to the stars via additional degrees of freedom. đ¤ˇââď¸
One last point. I released such a theory. Could well be wrong.
But I can tell you I should have received a call from DOE. Because calls are cheap and relevant trained PhDs are *very* finite. The US should track every geometer, General Relativist, and Particle Theorist working.
You donât have to take a position on me or GU. You can ask Wolfram or Lisi or Barbour or Deutsche or anyone outside the system whether such calls are placed. They are not. No one *in* the system believes in wild discontinuous change from *outside* the system. As per your article.
Which is to say weâre not monitoring. Maybe we think thatâs a waste of taxpayer dollars. Maybe we think that a Grisha Perelman of physics is impossible.
How much does a phone call cost if a researcher is wrong vs not bothering if theyâre right? Price the Type I & II error. Nuts.
Discontinuous innovation is always unlikely. But never impossible.
We are both skeptics. But this UFO story is weird beyond belief Michael. I canât think of a single story to fit to these reports Iâm hearing about.
I welcome your thoughts. As always.
Warm regards,
Eric
Michael, intellectually I am always very glad to have you on that wall.
Skepticism with an open mind is a lot rarer than reflexive skepticism. Thanks to you and @DrBrianKeating for a rather different UFO conversation than either wild eyed belief or knee jerk rejectionism. đ
This was an epic conversation @DrBrianKeating Even when I don't agree with @EricRWeinstein (or understand what he's saying when he injects gauge theory & hyperdimensional space-time physics into the conversation) he makes me think in new ways. Worth a listen...
John reached out to me not all that long ago. I also will not kill myself. Iâm not suicidal.
Also, this is getting fucking ridiculous.
This authoritarian turn around Epstein, Wuhan, Ivermectin, âFortifying Democracyâ, UAP, climate, mostly peaceful protests, Leaked Tax ReturnsâŚ
Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.
$WHACKD available only on http://McAfeedex.com:)
âŚmandatory racism exorcism at work, #metoo witch hunts, shadowbanning, Build Back Better, Trust and Safety, TOS changes, compulsory speech, ANTIFA denials, Labor Shortage claims, denial etcâŚetc⌠is clearly a repudiation of all the US stands for. He was bugged by it all.
And if you mention the ENORMOUS number of issues that are behaving in this *same* totally artificial fashion, the reputation attacks SOAR from all sides.
What the hell has control of the US and why is it localized to the Democratic Party & itâs associated media and businesses?
I wish I could remember his call w/ more precision. But it was when I was in San Francisco. I couldnât believe I was known to him.
NOTE: I will be taking a new approach to all repetitive doxing, reputational or other attacks as a result.
Think Iâm done fucking around.
Having been menaced over asking for Epstein as a fake âDisgraced Financierâ to be called out by our press and connected to any intelligence services, this takes on new meaning.
When you canât call your own damn teams for help, who can you even call?
I so hate this shit. RIP JM.
Responsible folks share w/ me hoping that if I believe them, they wont have to share under their own name. I shared some of what was shared with me.
My market saying is "Early is another name for wrong." In UFO land "Early is another name for presumed Crazy".
Time to apologize.
Long awaited declassified UFO report happens to be 9 pages that basically looks like @EricRWeinstein's twitter post.
To all the UFO people who were getting it right: I blew it. I thought you were bored, easily convinced, read too much sci-fi as kids, were easily taken in. I thought there was no way this could ambiguously exist in a world flooded with sensors. I thought you were not getting it.
I am very late to your party and even having gotten the report mostly right, it has been exceptionally unpleasant to get in front of it by even a few months. I can only imagine how it feels after the many years the US has gaslight you all while knowing you were not wrong.
A lot of UFO people are nutty. But you the careful community that called balls and strikes as best you could with limited information deserve not only rehabilitation in the minds of the public, but some official recognition that you are to be listened to in the future. Thank you.
I believe you now when you say that there is even much more high quality data available but that it has not been released.
At a personal level: You were right, I was wrong. Thanks for letting me join you at the 'last minute' in the few months before the report. I'll listen more.
I also wanted to say to the non-ufo community that whatever I got right largely didn't come from me. It came from patriots, fellow scientists & others who were not taken in the way I was. All I did was a bit of filtering and after market analysis given the gravity of the issue.
DOD: It appears not to be that we can't confirm that it's no longer the case that with multiple sensor data that it is now unlikely that at least some UAP are likely to be non-human technology or enemies leapfrogged us.
Public: Huh. Gosh. Ok. Meh.
DOD: Phew. Dodged that bullet.
X-Files series finale twist: Mulder publicizes the evidence heâd been seeking for 11 seasons and no one cares.
Brilliant.
No one asks the right questions.
Where is the damned data?
Why are the tiny number of declassified videos so piss poor and possibly misleading?
Where are competent leading scientists in this story?
Are we talking about new physics or just new technology?
EtcâŚ
Or some other line of thought? Because I have seen zero compelling direct evidence of this mystery.
And US scientists who refuse to take this seriously as per the above tweet are neglecting and/or turning their back on our national and international security responsibilities given this report.
That is my belief. Full stop.
It sounds like the DoD wants to not only legitimize UAP studies, but also make them much more lucrative. If they succeed, Iâd guess thereâll be no shortage of scientists looking to cash in, for good or ill.
See âpolitical economyâ above.
Name a single species on earth so insignificant that biologists do not bother to include it on the phylogenetic tree or consider it interesting?
Neil:Pardon me for asking, but isnât *this* an egocentric anti-curiosity position elevating radical obligate âdebunkingâ over science?
How egocentric of us to think that Space Aliens, who have mastered interstellar travel across the Galaxy, would give a shit about humans on Earth.
This isnât meant as a dig. I am trying to use your same exactly choice of normative framing that you used to dismiss my fellow inquiring minds in the wake of the UAP report. Happy to remove it if we can get rid of the invective. Thanks.
*exact
I subscribe to an unpopular position. Consider 3 kinds of đ:
A) Ones with no life or at least no life within striking distance of the source code (ToE).
B) Worlds that are on the verge of gaining the source code but are confined to a terrestrial surface.
C) Root level access.
Now, if you can jack into the cosmos as âRootâ it MAY facilitate stuff thatâs unimaginable (e.g. dimension hacking) yet only one remaining big upgrade away from being able to fuse nuclei. Which is where we are now.
Iâd guess all civilizations that are Root care about each other.
The following is pure speculation (Tutored by experience w/ GU):
I think we sent a signal to the cosmos in 1945 and then on Nov. 1, 1952. Fusing Nuclei is what you do JUST before you become root. If this is right, we let the cosmos know âEarth is root adjacentâ w/o awareness.
Is there anyone in the cosmos listening? Perhaps not. But we are all acting as if living on a terrestrial surface with the ability to fuse nuclei is some totally normal thing due to <70 years of good luck. Which is insane.
Now what if Iâm right in the above and the cosmos cares?
The idea of a newly space-time-faring unwise civilization with fresh root level access is a nightmare. And no one but no one on earth takes this seriously anymore. After 1952 fundamental physics went on progressing normally for ~20yrs. So after that itâs been~50yrs of stagnation.
In those ~50yrs we learned to stop worrying. About Fusion-weapons, interstellar travel, a cosmos that listens or even our ability to progress to the end. In 1984, physicists were talking about the end of physics without irony. They then failed, while failing to report failure.
So they told another story: âString theory didnât fail!! It may take 100s of years to figure it out!â That is âIf we String Theorists canât make progress, a Theory of Everything is now far over the Horizon for everyone else.â But thatâs not logically necessary. I say weâre close.
It makes sense to worry about *every* small boutique program: Lisi, Wolfram, Barbour, LQG, Tegmark, ConnesLott, Octonions, amplitudhedron, etc. Our science/defense establishment doesnât seem to get this idea: after 50yrs of no progress it seems too abstract to practical men.
I learned from my buddy @SamHarrisOrg that he thought đ˝ would be Millenia ahead of us. Look at Nov 1, 1952 from Nov 1 1902: you donât have powered flight, know what relativity or the quantum is, know that neutrons exist, know about anti-matter, etc.
From â02, â52 IS millennia.
Well, we may or may not have a major update in our future. And if it unlocks dimension hacking, looking glass matter, VEV/potential hacking, multi-temporal pseudo-Riemannian metrics, Dark Chemisty, Dark Light, additional families, RaritaSchwinger fields, etc then we get upgraded.
And I believe all at once.
What does that mean? I honestly donât know.
But Imagine you sent a chainsaw, a Bugatti, Ibogaine, âMy-1st-Crisperâ, and an F-18 to a badly behaved 5yr old child for a birthday present w a simple card: âEnjoy!â Weâd worry specifically b/c immaturity.
Thatâs what NDT has most wrong. He thinks we are far behind anything that could visit us, but that ISNâT backed up by science. Heâd have to explain why we arenât âroot adjacentâ right now or that root buys us nothing. Well?
Think of the relationship of Iran to nukes for example.
Iran is now Nuke adjacent. And their facilities and scientists keep running into mysterious problems. Why? Surely not because Iran is too insignificant to her more advanced neighbors. That would mirror NDTâs argument. My argument is that root level access to nuclei *suffices*.
Am I saying âAliens are hereâ? Of course not. But the âRoot Adjacency Hypothesisâ is not properly discussed almost anywhere. Which defies all explanation.
Perhaps everyone else is right & Iâm wrong. Absolutely! But itâs common for the world to make a crazy dumb idea a consensus.
And I think NDT is enforcing a dangerous âCopernicanâ consensus that we are too insignificant to even monitor or visit, to go along with âWeâve had Nukes for 70 years without losing a city. I wouldnât worry. What could possibly go wrong.â
This is just a human rationality flaw.đ
When does Jon Stewart signal it is finally okay to talk about progressing cognitive decline?
He isnât the only one. Jon did the Wuhan lab leak. @TIME did âfortificationâ 2020. @BarackObama got UAP and Wokeness. Brad Delong got to reveal NAFTA was social DarwinianâŚ
But the rules are very clear on EXACTLY who is allowed to say âPrevious Fringe view X is now Mainstream!â
When âthe callâ is made. I assume youâre implying that itâs only ok for Jon Stewart to talk about it? To which I would wonder why is he the only one able to speak about whatâs so blatantly obvious?
What was special about Stewart was quite subtle. He didnât say âThe facts have changed.â He said: itâs obvious & has always been so, that the Biosafety Level4 Bat Corona Virus lab is the likely origin while Colbert feigned being shocked: The Gated Institutional Narrative updated.
An irrational attachment to being able to feed their families & avoid reputational ruin on a going forward basis. Call it a hunch.
UAP with crappy video and without hard data is unbounded downside with limited upside for scientists.
Itâs absurd: We donât bring in our own team.
Why are so many public scientists like Neil deGrasse Tyson @neiltyson avoiding the Pentagon UFO Report?
Avi Loeb shares his analysis of the report, as well as what he believes science can do to advance the topic.
Live Special Wednesday!
#ufotwitter
There just isn't enough substance to even talk about & most scientists don't like pointless blather. No insights to gain.
Letâs agree: Thereâs no high quality public sensor data worth talking about yet. Thatâs not the data that makes this interesting.
People talking about Tic-Tacs and Floating Pyramids rather than Straussian communication written between the lines. I feel like Iâm losing my mind.
The fact that many of us have moved on from the UAP report is fascinating.
During the financial crisis, the phrase âNon-Recourse Loanâ was used to describe the governmentâs âreliefâ strategy.
And folks just walked right by âNon-Recourse Loansâ as if it were just boring jargon.
I donât understand why you think itâs so important??
Read it *super* closely. Thatâs the only way it is so interesting.
Physicsâ Overton Window.
We can talk about CRAZY stuff thatâs irrelevant to our lives & never progresses: Boltzmann Brains, Many Worlds, String Theory Unification, AdS, Super-partners, etc.
We canât talk about anything that COULD suddenly change everything. UAP, other TOEs, etc
My point isnât at all that low probability topics are likely to change everything. Itâs that we feel *safe* knowing certain crazy ideas always seem to lead nowhere. But we feel unsafe when we donât know if what weâre looking at *could* surprise us by suddenly changing our world.
I donât believe in FTL travel.
FTL is an implicit appeal to travel *within* Relativity theory. Presumably traversing the spacetime manifold of Einstein faster than his theory allows.
The goal is to ask what theory is *beyond* Einstein & might it allow us the *illusion* of FTL.
Can you describe faster than light travel in practical layman's terms?
An example: In GU, relativity theory is recovered from the Observerse which is constructed around two separate spaces X and Y. Einsteinâs Spacetime (a signature (1,3) 4-manifold with pseudo Riemannian metric) is recovered from observations of Y by X.
Another example. Some see spacetime as the commutative limit of a non-commutative manifold. That would be beyond relativity.
Others see topology changing operators that allow agents to change spacetime topologically. Again that would be beyond the usual relativity theory.
But in standard Relativity theory as an effective theory, I donât think about FTL. Sorry.
Scratch the UAP story and you soon learn that there are a surprising number of seemingly sane people orbiting around the Pentagon who assert that UAP are particularly active around our nuclear weapons.
What to make of this? đ¤ˇââď¸ But the above *can* be said *without* speculation.
Two retired USAF officers will be describing their experiences involving UAPs and U.S. nuclear weapons systems at the National Press Club on Oct 19th. Hopefully, this will inspire Congress to pursue this issue further with the USAF:
Are they all insane? Donât know. Seems unlikely.
Are they propagandized? Seems far fetched but possible.
Is it a Psy-op? Maybe.
Mass psychosis? Donât think so. But it could be a self reinforcing belief.
But no one wants to chew up their credibility talking about these rumors.
Things I don't believe we can't conclusively resolve:
A) COVID's origin.
B) The Jeffrey Epstein story.
C) UAP.
D) JFK assassination.
E) Vegas Shooting.
F) Extent of 'Democracy Fortifying' in 2020.
G) Efficacy of Non-Vaccines.
H) Mysterious WEF 'Build Back Better' mantra.
I) Negative impacts of Trade known to have been suppressed.
J) Adulteration of BLS CPI measure of inflation.
K) Negative economic impacts of Immigration.
L) Sudden spike in fake 'Objective Third Party Fact Checking'.
M) Sudden "Diversity Equity Inclusion" explosion.
N) Collusion beween Tech Platforms functioning as Communications Utilities as well as with the Federal Government.
O) Death of John MacCaffee.
N) Chinese infiltraion of US basic research through 'Student Exchange'.
P) Take over of 'Peer Review' during Robert Maxwell's reign.
Q) Joe Biden's state of cognitive decline.
R) Nature of MSNBC campagin against Andrew Yang.
S) Nature of Dean Scream, Anti-Ron Paul and other interference in democracy by Mainstream media News.
T) Impact of loss of mandatory retirement on young people seeking work.
U) Rex84.
V) Collusion between National Academy and National Science foundation division of Policy Research and Analysis to fake demographic crisis in mid 1980s.
W) Lack on anyone building the significant & desperately needed new non-profit institutions despite skyhigh wealth inequality.
X) Loss of Academic Freedom across the board in Academe.
Y) Loss of the Lancet and other publications as trusted non-political sources of fact.
Z) The true nature of @EcoHealthNYC w its relationship to @doddtra & Dr A. Fauci.
Moral: much of this 'ambiguity' is serving the few.
A last point: I don't know what happened in most all of these (the NSF & BLS stories being exceptions). I really don't. The quality of my guesses is not particularly high. The quality of my suspicions as to what IS resolvable has been *considerably* higher, at least historically.
*If* we are being visited, it is likely not with conventional propulsion. It is insane that we are not talking about this as possible new physics. The conversation will go right back to technology, security, skeptism etc.
I cannot understand what we are doing here.
It makes zero sense. Give science our data. Now.
The unwillingness to turn our own physical data over to our own scientists makes this whole thing sound to me like we are choosing to fake extra-terrestrial visitation. That would be the main reason to think this is all a moronic psy-op. But why do that? It can't work in the end.
Sooner or later we are either going to be asking why our government faked this moronic story OR why they withheld our data from the people we needed to see it.
This is not primarily a technology issue. It's either a propoganda/mind-control issue or a science issue at this point.
Who isnât turning over What physical evidence? Whatâre you referring to?
@MLGACE Whatever our data is for UFO/UAP. Accelerations. Heat signature. Cloaking. Transmedia behavior. Cornering ability. I have no idea. I just know we aren't looking at high quality data and I know we have MUCH higher quality data than has been released.
After a zoom call yesterday with Avi Loeb, Iâve decided to join Harvardâs Galileo Project on its Research Team.
Time to de-stigmatize the whole topic and help the data talk. The claimed phenomenon of UFO/UAP, after all, should be a scientific question.
There is no debunking UAP at this stage - the only question is: what are these these technologies which appear to defy the laws of physics as we know them?
The alien question is related yet separate. I've seen nonhuman beings myself. Again the question remains: what are they?
There are many sightings that are bunk. Your issue is with the nature of the complement of that set. But debunking will need to be done in all future scenarios. Nature of the beast.
Dear @EricRWeinstein See my presentation to the group on Bayesian probabilities that UAPs = ordinary terrestrial phenomena far more than extraordinary terrestrial/ET phenom. Odds of ETIs coming here or Chinese/Russians discovered new physics very low, video artifacts very high.
After a zoom call yesterday with Avi Loeb, Iâve decided to join Harvardâs Galileo Project on its Research Team.

I havenât seen any compelling data. I have been told that such data exists in abundance from multiple sources that I trust. No idea how to square that.
Doesn't square with Fravor's account. Listen to him on Lex Fridman's podcast. Lots of great tech detail. It can't be just video artifacts because his "Tic Tac" story had four eyewitnesses in agreement with both video and radar data.
Not saying anything beyond that I find the videos released uncompelling as data. I find the incident super interesting. Would like to see the entire time series of data taken in by all sensors.
I have been dismayed by the senator before this.
But this is correct. And courageous. UAP is both a security and a scientific issue. Stop the giggles. Start the study.
Maybe I was too hasty about dismissing KG. Opening my mind again.
If we want to defend our airspace and maintain our strategic edge, we need to investigate Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and determine if they belong to a foreign entity or something else altogether. It's a national security issue â and we can't bury our heads in the sand.
2022
Can someone authenticate the existence of this claim for me? Iâm new to UFOs. Before the report on UAP this last summer, I would think this is BS.
Now I believe itâs more likely to be real, having updated my Bayesian priors. And, again, apologies to all of you Iâve denigrated.
MEGA-THREAD! The @usairforce Academy taught their future leaders about UFO's in Physics 370 from 1968-70! The following videos contain the information that was included in Chapter 33 "UFO's" of a textbook titled "Introductory Space Science". #ufo #ufotwitter 1/11
Is there such a text?
Has the USG owned up to it?
Is there a PDF of it circulating?
Are there others attached to Wright Patterson AFB, or the RIAS, or the Physical Fields institute of UNC Chappell Hill or Brown Universityâs Non Linear Dynamics Group, or the Glen L Martin Co.?
Sorry for the weird specificity but Iâm trying to link this to things that I know to be real and that Iâve been puzzled about for years that never made sense to me.
Also, itâs hard to fake an entire text competently. So this is interesting.
Thanks #ufotwitter.
Hi Michael,
Not updating my priors on all UFO sightings. Iâm updating my priors on âThe Golden Age of General Relativityâ, B DeWitt, L Witten, RIAS, the Martin Company, etc.â And Iâm doing it based on a government report inconsistent with the closing report of BlueBook. And you?
Dear @EricRWeinstein
According to UFOlogists 95% of all sightings for all time are explained by natural/terrestrial phenom (planes, blimps, geese, sun dogs, lens flares, etc.). 5% unexplained (â ET or Russian tech). X new sighting is made. Which bin is X most likely to be in?
We have been spun. And as skeptics we have to notice the inconsistencies.
We were likely either spun this last summer, or spun at the closure of Operation BlueBook.
The whole thing sounds like total bullshit. But we also have a lot of weird stuff from real 1950s science.
Who were Babson and Bahnson? Those stories donât make much sense. Why Bryce and Cecile DeWitt and Peter Higgs in Chappell hill funded as part of a weird anti-gravity program?
Simple question: how did you tutor your priors last summer? Not at all? A tiny amount?
Skeptically, E
My colleague and friend Jesse Michels asked me to interview Dr. @haroldputhoff on UAP/UFO. Wasnât sure how to do this, so we tried oscillating between steelmanning and critiquing what Puthoff was able to say within his obligations of non-disclosure.
Can we just end the secrecy?
Mind-breaking discussion between the great @EricRWeinstein and @haroldputhoff (former NSA/CIA/AATIP) on the (possible) physics of UFOâs, private aerospace as holders of scientific secrets and Halâs experience running Stargate (CIA psychic spy program) â>
For those of you speculating on channels reaching out to Sam Harris, myself and others on UFO/UAP. There was a minimum of one planned dissemination that got called off for reasons unknown. I am not at liberty to discuss. But I can say why people like Sam are likely to be quiet.
Interesting. It's a question I've been asking myself for 11 months: why did Harris said 3 times he's been contacted, etc..., then just shut up without any further explanation. At least you have a possible explanation. Have you heard other plausible ones?
What has so far been released to the public by government has been minimal. No one I know wants to incinerate credibility becoming a true believer over a tiny number of relatively low quality USG videos which, at least to me, prove absolutely nothing.
So then: why be interested?
Because there is an ocean of weird behavior and claims coming from otherwise sober seeming USG and former USG people. And a lot of it is weirdly consistent. So Iâm totally underwhelmed by the direct evidence so far. But Iâm baffled by the indirect evidence. What generated this?
I wonât speak for @SamHarrisOrg. But I failed to generate *any* good explanation for the repeated and fairly consistent assertions of DOD/IC types with no evident training in acting or theater. To say nothing of ordinary non-USG people. SoâŚnone of us knows what to think. Truly.
Something huge is up. It could be a psychological operation. It could be next generation spoofing by an adversary. It could be mass psychosis. But I donât want to speculate beyond a decision tree. Something huge *is* up. And I dug hard, but failed to get beyond indirect evidence.
What is worse, the most parsimonious explanations are the obvious two:
A) Our government is engaged in deception and utterly brilliant at it.
B) đ˝.
If the former, it is more competent than we ever suspected.
Everything else is less parsimonious. But I canât make sense of it.
One request: stop speculating. Some folks are reaching out. They pulled back a bit. And I for one may stop talking about this if asked due to the security issues. But that which has been shared with the public is not enough to go on. Itâs the indirect evidence we are watching. đ
I developed a private principle which has been useful in life. It says:
âA fair coin canât always land on its side, seemingly by accident, without constant, deliberately cryptic active management by others unseen.â
This UAP coin always seems to land on its side.
Maybe it's not a coin?
Maybe there are not just two sides?
UAP represent a variety of things. Regardless of how many things are identified, there will ALWAYS be unidentified flying objects.
Mick, I donât know how to communicate this, but you seem to want to be a dedicated debunker here. What direct evidence has been shared with the public, on its own, doesnât seem to require this level of aggressive debunking. Itâs just not that compelling. I agree with you on that.
The weird part is specifically the indirect evidence where your debunking is less effective. Itâs an unbelievable sea of weird behavior and strange recountings by sober people: I donât know what to make of it. But it doesnât seem like a spontaneous need to see faces in clouds.
Simply put, trying to turn it all into the occult + swamp gas + reflections on a lens + lying to get attention etcâŚdoesnât seem very compelling. Some of it is surely that, but something else is likely at play. Thereâs too much that doesnât fit that description for it to so easy.
Hope you are right. Or wrong. But this is seemingly a lot weirder than you are admitting. Too many grownups with security clearances and training telling too many similar stories at this point. Maybe itâs all fake. If so, Iâd be impressed. But I donât understand your confidence.
Appreciate your perspective. Didnât have that before. Thanks Mick.
Iâm just going to say it:
Is this our BEST video/data/imagery when it comes to withstanding scrutiny?? Why choose this??
Let us guess: there will be yet more releases of things that are less impressive than ordinary photography, photoshop, CGI, or video games.
Enough already.
Two senior U.S. defense intelligence officials said the Pentagon is committed to determining the origins of what it calls âunidentified aerial phenomena,â commonly termed UFOs, but acknowledged many remain beyond the government's ability to explain
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-congress-panel-hold-first-ufo-hearings-half-century-2022-05-17/
This is coming to feel like an infinite tease. Letâs stop making our nation, our military & our government look like idiots. Reveal or donât. Show or donât. We all get that there are security issues. But stop teasing with blobs, blurs and snippets less convincing than deep fakes.
My physics colleagues generally still have yet to incorporate what is going on in the changing UAP picture.
All of this lawyerly âobservations that currently cannot be completely explainedâ soft language in the absence of hard data is pretty confusing.
Imagine if an MD said to you âFor legal reasons protecting our clinic, I canât share your data with you, but it is not impossible that a still small number of atypical cells may be non locally replicating above baseline.â as a way of letting you know you had metastasized tumor.
You might, or might not, even understand what a serious situation you were in. It all sounds so bloodless.
If you did understand it, you would want to see the data. It is YOUR data after all. Data about you.
Thatâs where we are. No real data. Bloodless language. Few scientists.
More or less, we are increasingly being told we have what *appear* to be *large* numbers of craft of unknown origin in our skies and seas taking an unusual interest in world military activities so that our own government has asymmetrically good data it doesnât want to show us.
Some portion of the USG is saying we are repeatedly being visited by non human technology. Some other portion of the government is saying âDonât say thatâ either because it is a lie or they want it to stay hidden.
The net effect: destruction of trust in government and science.
It is now time to inform us all. It is either an elaborate USG psyop hoax or something of incomparable significance. Itâs not swamp gas anymore. Itâs not Mylar balloons and a few people desperate to get on television.
But it is definitely time to end the soft language. Itâs big.
@MickWest Mick, no offense, but at this point you are just wrong. There are factions within government, ex-government and government contracting, and some of them are saying that. Enough.
Or as you say: BS. Sorry.
@MickWest Mick, donât take this the wrong way. But you are highly motivated and stigmatizing. When you ask âwho?â you are playing dumb. I have agreed with you that the videos arenât compelling. But you donât quit.
So either play the debunker or donât. But this isnât 2 guys and 3 videos.
@MickWest Obviously a lot of serious people are scared about reputational attacks. But this isnât in range of just debunking a few videos anymore. Something is going on. We just canât know with confidence if it is real deception or real phenomena until real data is released. Clear?
@MickWest Iâm getting fatigued. I donât talk much about the Tic Tac. Or the Zimbabwe kids. Or Lue. Or Remote Viewing. Clear?
There are an enormous number of IC and DOD related folks who want to know what we are seeing. And this âDebunkingâ grainy videos feels petty. Itâs not the videos.
@MickWest I had to admit that there is an unbelievable amount of indirect evidence that something is going on with not much direct evidence.
Thatâs pretty weird. But pretending that this is either debunked or real misses the point. And I canât keep having this nonprogressing interaction.

Request for Help: have any of the technical folks claiming UAP knowledge been interviewed by technical folks w/ knowledge of General Relativity & Particle physics?
I would like to watch such a conversation dealing with the dry science of how UAP are claimed/thought to work. đ
This could include someone like Eric Davis, Bob Lazar, Travis Taylor, etc. maybe at blackboard talking over equations/Lagrangians, rather than merely speaking in prose
And if this doesnât exist, why doesnât it exist? Forgive me, but I donât know the history here. Seems odd. Thx.
I have been told this repeatedly by sober seeming USG and ex-USG folks. That both the US Navy and Air Force hold video of *arbitrarily* high quality backed up by extensive sensor data.
I have seen none of it. Zero. If I had signed away my right to disclose, I could not say this.
It may all be an elaborate lie. But the basic stories are pretty consistent. And one of them is that the UAP take an asymmetric interest in our advanced militaries. Unfortunately, that is also consistent with military disinformation, weapons R&D, spying, etc. i.e. cover stories.
So one version of events is that the military holds this high quality video/data because the UAP focused on our advanced militaries. The other version is that UAP cover stories are used by the Military to disguise what are sensitive security issues. But without the hard data⌠đ
Under Newton, we were free to explore the cosmos: 1686-1905.
Einstein then enforced house arrest to our solar system:1905-Now.
@elonmusk then said chemical rockets could get us 2 more spheres w Newtonian laws.
But survival hinges on going *beyond* Einstein, not back to Newton.
Did you really say that, Eric?
Like EVERY civilisation before us, not destroyed by some rival, we are on course to self-destruct long before we become a multi-planetary species.
Your Brother, Bret's, #EvolutionaryLens should reveal this to him, but doesn't seem to have done.
Iâm not going to complicate the basic story with caveats. Thatâs the basic plot.
Either there is freedom to leave based on new ideas, like GU, or the Einsteinian restrictions will persist.
If they persist; we probably can mildly elongate survival here by decades via wisdom.
If life is abundant & weâre not the top of the hierarchy (which is reasonable to me), Iâd guess that UAP would be here if that is possible in Einsteinâs successor theories. The absence of UAP is strong but *inconclusive* proof that Einsteinâs restrictions persist in all theory.
So if #ufotwitter ever wanted to know why I didnât take #UFO seriously, it was because I thought it was *preposterous* given lack of evidence.
And if #ScienceTwitter wants to know why I spun on a dime, itâs because it IS linked to the post-Einsteinian physics of our survival. đ
Just now on the Santa Monica freeway in broad daylight.
I know, I know, itâs slightly blurry. Granted⌠but it was gone before I knew it.
Swamp gas⌠or someone passed gas..clearly.. just ask Mick..
Even @MickWest says this is unlikely to be a Mylar balloon.
I know you're much smarter than I... But now I think you're just showing off, Mr Weinstein.
@LoudmouthLisa UAP is the US governmentâs new name for UFO:
This official US government military website has now REMOVED its extremely bizarre insigniaâŚas if this was just totally normal behavior.
I have no idea whatâs going on or what the official narrative will be around this. I was told to focus on its color scheme as the main clue.
This pattern of âextend, then retractâ has been my consistent experience of the entire official USG, IC, DoD, part of the UAP/UFO world.đ
Though Iâd get some help, trying to figure out what the heck is actually going on. Thanks Lue.

Thanks for the reply!
I got it immediately. Stay in touch? Thx.
Iâm happy to answer a few.
Itâll be fewer than Iâd like. I was invited to participate in the press conference about to start, but that project is totally separate, so I politely declined the gracious offer of my hosts, as I came here as *unaffiliated* observer.
How may I help?
If youâre not interested in my responses, or feel I owe you total personal disclosure, I politely decline in advance and suggest you unfollow. Any abuse of good will ends in a block. Those are my rules so that I can say all I might to those genuinely interested. Fair? Letâs go!
@DasWoolf I was not expecting to speak. The guest of honor, Lue Elizondo, became unavailable at the last minute. I was asked to step in. As a courtesy I agreed, and shared some ideas that represent no one but myself as a private US citizen working with publicly available info. Specifics?
@andyinberlin I am not as sure as you are that this what is going on. Itâs a matryoshka problem. Iâm convinced that many people you think of as insiders are not really inside enough. The UAP/UFO community leaps to MANY conclusions as if this is fun. This is not fun if you are serious about it.
@ALean_Skye I donât think people understand disclosure properly. Consider layers:
A) The basic *claimed* phenomena.
B) Associate phenomena.
C) Cover up of the above.
D) People in the know living a lie.
E) Outsiders being destroyed to keep secrets.
F) Outsiders being forced to live lies.
@ALean_Skye Disclosure likely has to do with F) as much as anything. No matter what A) Turns out to be. Which I still donât really know. If you are fighting for disclosure, donât over focus on whether we are prepared for A).
Iâm not inflating my level of knowledge here. I still donât know.
@andyinberlin I see a lot of people struggling under a heavy weight. People take their NDAs very seriously.
@dkb003 Official panels tend to be tightly controlled in advance through use of insiders. Occasionally that screws up and you get a Jeff Sachs (Lancet) or a Richard Feynman/Gen Kutyna (Challenger). Galileo Project is an outsider project. Prefer the latter.
@DasWoolf Technology is the entry point *if* recovered craft are real. Iâve seen no such proof. None.
But it is *psychotic* not to have Particle Theorists, General Relativists and Differential Geometers all over our US effort. I have yet to meet one in two years. Makes me very suspicious.
@DasWoolf One thought is that it is very hard to make up ghost stories about how Alcubierre Drives, Wormholes, Time Dilation, etc REALISTICALLY account for this with actual specialists.
I mean, I get it. But itâs nonsense. This is not about tech. Itâs about post-GR/SM physics or a psyop.
@DasWoolf It could sorta kinda maybe be a cover story for advanced tech. But I canât get that to make sense yet. Maybe my failure of imagination.
@delbel156 If others have gone beyond GR/SM to navigate/settle the cosmos, I donât think they would let us leave this solar system with the BS we see in Russia/Ukraine, Wuhan etc. We look like a crazy species about to unlock the source code. Itâs unbelievable. We look like savage fools.
@delbel156 Just got warned. You want to know why I donât tweet? Sorry all. Write to Twitter. Iâm out.
@delbel156 This account is throttled beyond belief. Check the graph over time. Check the level of reputational attack. Check the DOJ ready to block Elon. Go review portal Episode 21. The level of narrative control is through the roof. Wake up. Look at the patterns. All FUD. All suppression.
@delbel156 Iâm trying to keep this channel open.
The Portal is a communal resource. It reappears when you both need it and are prepared to fight for it. I cannot answer the interpersonal attacks myself as a public figure. Think about it a bit: Itâs not haters. Itâs a bit more serious.đ
Willing to answer a few more Tweets on the San Marino UAP conference where I unexpectedly was asked to fill in for @LueElizondo. Iâm likely to get throttled & harassed yet again. When and if the beloved Twitter nanny algorithm starts again, Iâll call it a night here in Rome.
Go!
Same rules as before. No changes on my part. Iâm doing this only because I am not trying to hide anything that I am in a reasonable position to share and many of you want to know what the heck is going on as much as I do. But there are limits. Such is life.
Shoot.
@McLuhanStates @LueElizondo There is a lot of loose talk about dimensionality. Keep in mind that I have zero direct evidence of the phenomena. So this is wildly premature.
My interest here is that GU replaces one manifold with two in a bundle structure and adds BOTH temporal and spatial dimensions.
@McLuhanStates @LueElizondo As the author of GU, I still donât know how to think in multiple temporal dimensions. The math is quite exotic. But I at least know through GU that the math can FORCE us to confront ultra hyperbolic PDE. It would change everything we know if unscreened. No simple Hamiltonian.
@McLuhanStates @LueElizondo I wish people would stop talking about higher dimensional beings though. If GU is on point, then we are also higher dimensional beings. So I could do without Exoticism. If this is in any way real, we should reserve speech for precise meanings. And I donât know if it is real. Yet.
@prowl4uap @LueElizondo Here goes. I still feel like this FEELS like bullshit. Particularly the number of explicit depictions of Tetrapod hominid like beings.
But the truckloads of indirect evidence suggests NHI. I just donât have a way of squaring this. And the âexperiencersâ are breaking my heart.
@prowl4uap @LueElizondo I wasnât prepared for this part to be honest. Iâve met so many voices whoâs lives were taken over by an experience that they seemingly didnât want. People breaking down. As far from attention seeking as you can imagine with no theater background. Itâs pretty hard to explain away.
@prowl4uap @LueElizondo Why would ordinary folks ruin their lives like this? No money in it. No desire for fame. No other signs of shifted reality. So I donât know what to say.
The absence of direct evidence screams BS. The indirect evidence screams some wildly new thing in town. And Iâm too dumb here.
@mikedduffey @LueElizondo Donât know. Less if not asked to do something official. I hate this topic. Itâs an infinite conundrum. Always a new hint. Never just some actual solid trustworthy data.
Iâve had quite enough space opera and national security runaround. Letâs get to the meal. Too many appetizers.
@montanacasey @LueElizondo Donât know who that is. I see the name around. But Iâm not really in this space. Itâs embarrassing. But Iâm not a ufologist. And there is so much ufology that Iâm not up on this stuff. My fault.
@smbodie3 @LueElizondo People were very kind. Apparently I did some wrong things on stage. But a condition of taking this on the night before was that I would be me. They decided this is real. I donât have that data. I am still spread over real / not real until I see something super clear & concrete.
@twitpucker @LueElizondo Iâd start with academic freedom and civility. There is more than enough here to DEMAND answers. This belongs to science as much as it does to NatSec. We donât need a Fauci for UAP. We need physics and math to begin. Biology if warranted. Letâs just be serious if it is a threat.
@twitpucker @LueElizondo The gigglers & shamers & accusers need to get a pacifier and a juice box for a time out. We gave out too many PhDs to mediocre souls. Itâs a disaster. Itâs nuts that theyâre STILL here to inhibit consideration of this after all the claims by USG.
Too much inclusion of trolls.
@BostonsBuddha @twitpucker @LueElizondo It appears to be titrated. Which I dislike. At some point foreplay made sense. That was a while ago. Enough.
@StevenBelmont4 @LueElizondo Weâre now waiting for a cataclysmic event to arrive in a Poisson process. We arenât getting it. Biden & Putin & Xi & Kim & Khamenei & Zelensky are not getting where we are. Itâs like theyâre throwing a rave on a life boat surrounded by oceanic whitetips. Who are these people?
@StevenBelmont4 @LueElizondo We have all our eggs in this basket and we are focused on Eastern Ukraine & Chips in Taiwan like the world didnât change last century forever? Iâm totally lost. I donât want to be here for the Poisson process. I want to be somewhere with an atmosphere and real distance from this.
@RGoddardishere @LueElizondo Would prefer not to. I need data and an end to NatSec paternalism. This is either serious or it isnât. If it isnât, stop wasting time. If it is, you need the physicists and geometers at a minimum. Where are they??
@codingfodder @LueElizondo Read @notevenwrongâs excerpts of the David E Kaplan interview. We need to clean house to revitalize physics as if our lives depend on its progress. Anyone who wants to whine about taxpayer dollars for theoretical physics gets thrown out of the planning discussion. So destructive.
@UAPDAO @LueElizondo YesâŚbut itâs like space opera. Lots of claims. Iâd like to see something. Isnât it a bit weird to hear these super detailed stories with hard NO EVIDENCE this even happened?
Itâs embarrassing frankly. Like Stag-o-Lee stories around a campfire. Only from serious people.
@galacticfuton Been going on for too long. đ¤ˇââď¸
@207isHeaven Iâm not read in anywhere. Not an insider unless I have to become one.
@SergheiIancenco @McLuhanStates @LueElizondo Thereâs an operation called âPull Backâ in differential topology. Itâs akin to pulling back data from a record album. You donât hear the album all at once even though the data is all there at once. Weâd be pullbacks into 4D from 14D w/ both 4D & 14D existence. Bit of a mind flip.
@nickthadude_86 @LueElizondo Many. Of either Material vehicles or spoofing and disinformation. It feels like a spoof that is too big for anyone or any group to pull off. Like way too big. So I think itâs probably real. Just canât believe it has no solid evidence. I donât get how this is possible.
@TheCertainT @Klupperz Let me answer this. I donât think we are alone in the universe. So a lot rests on GR being effectively a moat making travel so cumbersome as to be not worth attempting. If thatâs wrong; itâs pretty arrogant to think we are alone in the solar system. Post-GR changes a lot of odds.
@TheCertainT @Klupperz I promise you India would keep the North Sentinelese from leaving and causing trouble if the Islanders figured out Science and Fusion Wepons before they figured out how to escape and build vehicles to escape their island. Think about it.
@lololmaoha @LueElizondo Magic spoon has weird mouth feel. But itâs okay.
@Intriguing_Post @LueElizondo Tetrapods are the least interesting beings. Because then itâs likely just earth life or we were seeded from them. Tells us little about Post-GR escape. Post-GR is everything to me. Can we travel the cosmos? Dunno.
âOur home is in the stars or not at all.â
I believe that.
@207isHeaven No.
@kerskine They are running out of road. So it is way up. People are fed up.
@YungJozuz Yes.
@ben83724 Canât answer.
@DannyDeck68 There was a lot of disinformation around the Golden Age of GR. Itâs mostly in the public domain. But it requires piecing together.
@ben_koski Last Question of the Night: where did the top mathematicians and physicists go after the Mansfield amendment(s)? How can you have UAP where I am the only voice loudly pointing out that Real Alien Vehicles would like require new physical law. We can account for every relevant PhD.
@ben_koski Where are the physicists and Geometers? Hint hint.
If they are not out here, itâs likely all BS. If they are here, they are hidden in plain sight. There just arenât that many of us. Technology wonât work if you donât know the relevant science. Thatâs not engineering or MatSci.
@ben_koski Stop dreaming about FTL. Or element 115. Or Alcubierre GR. Or electogravitics. Itâs bizarre that we discuss this so much.
First Ask: where are our relevant experts? Imagine you want the top 25 GR/SM/DiffGeometers for a matter of national security? Put together that list.
@ben_koski If those folks arenât out here then we are talking about a psyop or a giant government blunder endangering us all. If they ARE here, you know their names. Work backwards. Is there an NSA for UAP? If so what is its address? Come on guys. Not many speak this language. Small club.
@ben_koski What happened with the Mansfield amendment & why does no one discuss this? We used to have our top people on this but we called it something else. Where did it go? Either it ended or it didnât. Itâs a tiny world. Just donât get all Qanon. Itâs a big story: Treat it w/ respect.đ
@ben_koski Hope that helped clear things up. I was never meant to speak at this conference. Keep that in mind. Goodnight.
Let me say two things.
A) I have always believed that almost all Unidentified Flying Objects are just that: something unremarkable that is not identified.
B) That has nothing to do with the issue of the remainder. It takes no more than a *single* confirmed inexplicable event.
Beyond that, as I have told you, I am sure that I am being used by at least some of those who have come to talk to me. But I cannot come up with any explanation for some of the representations made to me. And I get more fed up by the day with USG playing âLucy & the footballâ.
National Security isnât license to gaslight & ruin the lives of ordinary folks who arenât participating in IC games. Itâs cruel, abusive & totally UnAmerican. Come up with better cover if you need it. But between bioweapons/UAP gaslighting, youâre playing god. And youâre not him.
Shabbat Shalom everyone. Have a great weekend.
@Methedra And often forced to speak as if one voice. Donât forget that part.
@CarpathianMts Happy to NEVER mention UFO/UAP ever again and work quietly. Totally up to what the interested community wants. I hate this topic. I just think it is clear that it appears to be critically important. Even if it is a USG headfake.
@nickpopemod I say exactly the same. But, to be fair, the skeptics can point to zero incontrovertible evidence (at least so far as I am aware)âŚWhich is a big deal in my book. The soft evidence is not in their favor. The absence of hard evidence *available to citizens & scientists* is. đ¤ˇââď¸
This is an odd moment. Official Washington tells us we have lost control of airspace. But also we should not in any way freak out because it is mostly just a combination of Hypersonic enemy drones of rival powers and some ultra high performing seagulls. And some alien non-aliens.
Which is to sayâŚwe clearly have two factions in government not allowed to file separate reports. The result is total intellectual incoherence.
So the whole thing comes across like the USG is having its first collective magic mushroom trip in real time. Itâs so embarrassing.
Good luck on this report. If I had to guess it will again be super interesting if unpacked and as boring as possible on the surface. But I have little confidence in my own guess.
I am going to drop my interest way back if things stay like this too much longer. But letâs see. đ
@528vibes Letâs put it this way. I will lose interest in government disclosure as a self protective measure. This is an abusive relationship. Whose government is it? Ours? Theirs? Lockheedâs? Enough.
Iâm playing by the rules. They arenât.
@seanonolennon Done.
@IdesignsWak Deliberate misinterpretation to smear never gets old.
@seanonolennon Letâs get out of here.
Miss you too. And happy belated if I didnât call. I think I did or sent a voice message. But the days run together honestly.
@MickWest Ya know, it kinda did Mick. It speaks with many voices. And some of those heads said stuff.
I really donât get why we are often apart. We agree there is no incontrovertible concrete data in the public domain. And I never mention those grainy videos because they donât impress me.
@MickWest Anytime you can clear up a bird or a weather ballon, or flares or a jet with a funny reflection, I am thrilled.
Iâm really grateful for that part of what you have contributed. So thank you.
But the other part, leaves me feeling like I just donât get something.
Take care.
@UAP_LEE @dsmethurst66 Yeah. That must be it. ;-)
One of the questions about UFOs that needs to be asked, and that I donât hear much about, is: âHas the US government built fake UFOs?â
UFO people are so focused on whether there are real UFOs that they donât push hard enough on this question.
Allow me to share a thought or two.
When I first realized I was totally wrong about UFO/UAP, I was shocked by how many folks have very similar stories about recovered crashes of very similar advanced vehicles.
It was mind blowing in 2 ways.
A) We have real crashed vehicles.
And/Or
B) We built fake alien vehicles.
At this point Iâm reasonably sure there are things that look like cool alien vehicle in some hangers. But I also grew up near Hollywood and remember super cool looking fake space cars visible off the Hollywood freeway.
So: does anyone have stories of building fake UFOs for USG?
As you likely guessed, all the photos in this thread are fake military equipment. The airbase is totally fake. The dummy tanks are often inflated on the battlefield. The fake tank pieces are bolted on to real cars.
Q: Did we build fake UFOs in places like Wright-Patterson AFB?
After studying this issue for 2yrs, Iâm pretty convinced that there ARE wild looking vehicles in secret high security locations. But I also find NO SIGN OF OUR TOP PHYSICISTS. That is a huge red flag. If you had fake UFOs, you would have a puzzle for physics: What is the science?
A true recovered interstellar craft would be like LHC or LIGO data: potential scientific data for physics beyond the Standard Model and General Relativity.
But if the crafts are fake, you would be crazy to let the A-team physicists near them. It would blow up in your face.
So my ignorant question is this: are there stories of building fake UFOs for sites in Nevada? Ohio? Are there fake retrieval teams? To what extent does faking military equipment spill into faking a UFOgasm for decades?
Because there are too many very similar craft stories.
So, at this point, the stories of craft kept at secret locations is most likely to be true in my opinion. But it is also true that all the top physics talent that was working only semi-covertly on suspicious gravity projects left by the early 1970s. So any craft may be faked.
Either way, itâs a big deal. Everything changed in the early 70s. Itâs impossible to say how much. The moment the Mansfield amendment came in, physics began to stagnate. And âQuantum Gravityâ destroyed our culture of science. We donât even whisper about its âAnti-Gravityâ origin.
Note Added: many readers are making wild inferences about me talking about flying fakes. I was very clear that this was about apparent crafts on the ground and in Hangars in Nevada, Ohio & elsewhere.
Wild or bad inference patterns will get you blocked. I donât have time. Thx.
I donât think there is any history of my ever commenting on @SBF_FTX.
It is because I never deeply understood what was going on when it was explained to me. Iâm not going to lie: I felt dumb.
Moral: be very careful celebrating success that you donât understand for its own sake.
Other things that made/make me feel dumb:
Bernie Madoffâs Returns
COVID origin questions = Racism
Fauci
Hilaryâs Inevitability
Quantum Gravity
Jeffrey Epsteinâs CCY trading Claims
CPI Construction
UFO/UAP
Chinese Graduate Students in STEM

@Deepneuron @SBF_FTX I canât explain curvature tensor to 5 year olds. I admit I donât even understand the rule of âif you canât explain it simply you donât understand it.â It seems totally wrong to me! Oh well.
Has the noise to signal ratio of UFO disinformation (or misinformation) vs. information increased in the past few years, or decreased?
If it's increased, have our denoising programs (eg. intuition about what's "BS") gotten better to compensate or are we more lost than before?
I'm curious to know what you think @EricRWeinstein.
I think that there is a lot more deliberate mis/disinformation right now and a modest increase in the level of information. So far as I can make out, they seem related. Itâs as if as soon as more needles appear, haystacks arrive that make them hard to find.
Iâm pretty annoyed.
As to intuitionâŚ.we donât and shouldnât have much.
Hard UFO/UAP data is supposed to be all about the unprecedented. Disinformation and superstition is all well precedented. So intuition should say itâs all BS. The whole thing comes down to hard data.
Intuition here is useless.
2023
A rough prediction of the next year of interaction in UFO/UAP between @JeremyCorbell (PS) and @MickWest (TCK). Courtesy of Shel Silverstein, noted children's author.
Pace yourself for 2023. It's gonna be a long one...
Today May be Considered the 50 year Anniversary of the Stagnation of Particle Physics.
Today Feb 1 marks the appearance of Kobayashi & Maskawa's englargment of the Cabibo Angle to the three generation 3x3 CKM matrix.
That should be cause for celebration. So let us celebrate!
Unfortunately, it also marks the end of what we can be certain actually is physics.
Imagine if Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" was still the #1 song on Billboard's Hot 100 & Tony Orlando and Dawn were singing "Tie a Yellow Ribbon". That, in a nutshell, is fundamental phsyics.
To be clear, It is not as if there are no Nobel Laureates recognized for fundamental discoveries in particle theory left. I believe we are down to the last 8. Half of them are in their 70s. One in his 80s. Three are nongenarians. Yes. It's that bad. And we're not honest about it.
When you hear about "Peer Review" in this field, you have to understand that the field stopped working. Without nature telling us, we don't actually know who the physicists are any more. We have no idea who is a fundamental physicist. All we know is that what we do doesn't work.
So I am celebrating today by pointing out the obvious: maybe it isn't a good idea to have people who haven't made contact with actual fundamental physics telling everyone else what they must and must not do to be members of a club that no longer works according to normal science.
What fundamental physics really is, is (approximately) captured by the table below. In short, if someone is below the age of 70, they may have proven their brilliance and mathematical ability, but they have not proven any ability to make contact with reality as theorists.
I will point out that our experimentalists are in FAR better shape. The massive nature of neutrinos, discovery of gravitational waves, the Higgs field, Intermediate Vector Bosons, Accelerating Expansion of the Universe/Dark Energy are all major successes over the last 50 years.
So what went wrong? I will be talking about my understanding of the stagnation this year at a different level. But the single greatest threat to fundamental physics in my estimation is something called "Quantum Gravity" which was really born 70 years ago around 1953.
To put it bluntly, it is not just that Quantum Gravity doesn't work. It's that you can't comfortably question Quatnum Gravity because the failed investment is on a scale that I think is difficult for us to contemplate. It includes String Theory, Loop Quantum Gravity, AdS/CFT etc.
Next Year, will be 40 years of failure for modern StringTheory to ship a product. To be clear and STEELMAN the argument for strings, it *is* a remarkable framework. It is REAL math. It teaches us things no other framework has.
But, it *destroyed* the culture of honest physics.
We spent almost 80% of this time being told that ST was a 'Piece of 21st Century Physics that fell into the 20th Century.'
Uh. Bullshit. That is an excuse. It's not clear that it's physics at all.
It's a "Failed piece of 20th Century Physics still hanging around in the 21stC".
It is time to hold conferences dedicated to the issues of groupthink in physics. Why wont our leading voices admit failure? We don't know. Previous generations wanted their students to succeed. But String Theory is dominated by boomers who seem oblivious to danger.
If we're going to truly wrestle w/ dark matter, or dark energy, or UAP that supposedly violate our laws of physics (e.g. General Relativity) we can't afford a leaders projecting their fears that THEY have wasted their lives, credibility and students careers on "Quantum Gravity".
So by all means, let's celebrate. But it is time to ask new voices for wild, dangerous and irresponsible ideas. Peer review failed. Quantum Gravity Failed. Community norms failed. And soon there will be NO ONE LEFT proven to be able to play this game. So what do we do?
We need to spend perhaps 5yrs asking "If the leaders have not succeeded for FIVE DECADES in moving beyond the Standard Model, then why are they leading this field and directing the resources, research, and path forward? What if we listened to those who the leadership push aside?"
As someone who has tried to ask this question, I can tell you that mostly the big programs have granted themselves a science equivalent of 'dipolmatic immunity' from the standards they impose on their intellectual competitors. But from today forward, we must end that game.
Let's put resources in new avenues, theories and theorists that have yet to fail. The next time you hear a theorist telling you about quantum gravity, the multiverse or String theory or Loops or Supersymmetry or AdS/CFT, etc. Ask them the following dangerous question:
"If you haven't succeeded in 50-70 years, what other theories would be viable if we relaxed the standards you have imposed on your competitors given that your theories do not seem to work? What if your Quantum Gravity were subjected to such standards? Would QG be quackery?"đ
Let's honor those who tried before by bringing the same energy they once brought to the attempt to learn our place in the universe. Happy to be corrected. But this is an emergency if we're ever going to go beyond chemical rockets and use physics to take our place among the stars.
"I remember when rock was young...đś"
Let's get that energy back, by any means necessary.
So far as I am aware, there is as yet ZERO evidence of UAP/UFO craft defying the laws of known physics based on high quality publicly available data.
There are simply an enormous number of videos, rumors, eye witness accounts, and indirect indications.
What should we propose?
I have no idea what the ground truth is on UAP. But I strongly believe itâs time for science to take UAP seriously, & push for answers. Even if every single one is mundane, we will surely learn things along the way. There is LOTS of evidence. Itâs time to look for PROOF w/data!
I donât mean to rain on any parades, but the complete absence of high quality data made available to scientists is both a MAJOR clue and an impediment to figuring this out. It is interpreted as the government not wanting scientists to investigate. Thus, it makes it sound like BS.
My position on UFO/UAP is that this is something *huge* that Iâm simply not smart enough to figure out. Iâm not going to lie and say itâs all weather balloons. And Iâm not going to lie and say we have solid high quality publicly available data when we donât: we are being starved.
Did I miss some tweets, Eric, where you slowly pivoted from the "government have kept all of this data secret, this must mean something, why is no one taking this seriously" to the message today?
I haven't got a strong stance here but felt like there's been a change in yours.
Point blank: we are being starved for information. My response to being starved for information is not to guess which branch of the decision tree is correct but to share with you the contradictory evidence both direct and circumstantial. I donât know why others pretend to know.đ
I absolutely believe that is what our highest level US elected representatives are told about UAP when they are briefed.
I have seen *zero* evidence to corroborate high quality data anywhere.
There is a permanent disconnect at this level. Things donât add up on this one. Sorry.
Hi Eric, do you believe that we have classified high quality data that points to a break away technology?
Loved your podcasts when you bothered sharing them. Enjoy your thoughts at times. But sticking with this flying saucer nonsense has me tempted to trim my feed by 1. Might as well spend half your time discussing the utility of Ouija boards or astrology. It's boring and not useful.
Then I advise leaving. Sorry to see you go. But there is a something. Even if it is a disinformation program. I canât change that. Itâs not up to me.
And thanks for being straight about it. Be well.
It wasn't a threat. More an expression of disappointment, as you are capable of skipping to the important bits, yet I see you here month after month bathing in 3-letter agency driven distraction techniques, simple propaganda. What's happening with your geometry for instance?
Thatâs what I focus on. And, to make matters more confusing, it is not unrelated. Something else I canât help. It is what it is.
Do you mean the 2 objects shot down after the balloon? Without information I have no special insight.
The general pattern seems to be starving us all for information: Iâm in the dark. No one in my growing UAP network has reached out with private info. Sorry to disappoint yâall.
@Standa_V *After* the balloon? I know of Alaska and Canada shootdowns. Maybe Iâm behind.
@JeremyCorbell âSanta remains in critical condition following high altitude mistaken identity shoot down. Sleigh the size of small car and several airborne reindeer considered a total loss.â
REUTERS: Shot down object that was flying remains unidentified. Appeared to be shaped like a cylinder.
ORDINARY HUMAN: We just shot down a Tic-Tac or cigar shaped UFO?
NORMIES: Conspiracy Theorist! You believe in aliens. lol.
ORDINARY HUMAN: I give up. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-still-gives-no-details-about-alaska-ufo-new-object-seen-over-canada-2023-02-11/
I am trying to find out anything actually clarifying. Maybe itâs a cylindrical balloonâŚwho knows. Iâve got nothing so far.
Iâm all for shooting down foreign nationsâ espionage balloonsâŚassuming that is what we know it to be.
Wow.
BREAKING: The U.S. military shot down another high-altitude object on Sunday afternoon, this one over Lake Huron, three U.S. officials confirmed to @ABC https://trib.al/lYAWch8
@OffendedRadical 4.
Many. But they are low quality.
I need more information just to be able to think. People are simply guessing.
Good luck.
@Soupdaddy00 Thanks. Just being honest.
@ScratchMiKing No. But I think some know a lot more than we do.
@GGrajab We are given less information than ever before.
@GGrajab Sounds like violent agreement.
@vaquerodepapel Thatâs one way to clean house.
@BubbluSangha I tried to get decent information. There is some reporting but I was underwhelmed by what was shared. Seemed like a bigger deal than the level of interest in reporting suggested. I donât have any theory for why.
Any updates: on the debris from 2nd, 3rd and 4th objects shot down over AK, Yukon & Lake Huron?
Or origin of COVID and the @EcoHealthNYC interference?
Or the source of the Epstein trading fortune?
Paper mask mandate efficacy?
Money supply changes on CPI?
Vaccine assessment?
Updates on FBI, DHS, GEC, CISA Prebunking citizens sharing real information through manipulated tech platforms?
Election interference via federal suppression of journalism?
Projected impact of Vinyl Chloride cloud in expected deaths & morbidity?
Disclosure of UFO/UAP history?
Updates on how the congressional leadership is able to beat the markets?
To whom Ghislaine Maxwell & Jeffrey Epstein trafficked?
Whether GM & JE were in any way related to the IC?
Why we pulled out of Bagram the way we did?
Why we canât question Ukraine escalation?
Etc?
This is something Iâve never seen: total suppression of answers to normal questions needed to make informed decision in everyday life and at the ballot box.
If this much needs to be protected on a need-to-know basis, democracy is simply over. This isnât compatible w/ democracy.

@HonungB @EcoHealthNYC Paddock? No. Never heard of him.
Four plus hours, too much Glenmorangie, a side of quantum gravity and several Extraterrestrials later, I donât exactly remember what happened. Will have to listen along with everyone else.
Great to see @joerogan as always. Miss having that guy in LAâŚ
@OrmWoden @joerogan As do I, as do I.
@DavidBCollum @joerogan Wow. Thanks Doc!
@Daily_Sinner @TheUfoJoe 100%. Not a dig at EWD at all.
@LeithNoweder @MikeColangelo Open to suggestions. I think people have no idea how hard this is. So thanks for being understanding.
@Daily_Sinner @humansareindef1 @TheUfoJoe I donât like trying to âdebunkâ courageous smart people. I think Hal is courageous. And smart. And full of imagination.
I worry that RV wonât survive scrutiny and the internet will pile on the hate. I donât want to âgo afterâ Bob Lazar either. Donât know him. HenceâŚ
@SteveSkojec @Daily_Sinner @humansareindef1 @TheUfoJoe You say âI believe A, given B, subject to condition C.â
Reponse: âYou believe Aâ??? Ha ha. Lol. What a loser. Cry harder.â
Itâs pretty annoying when it gets amplified by hundreds of..shall we say sketchy?âŚaccounts. So thanks.
@PrometheusCHT I sometimes agree with you.
@minordissent Thanks friend. Trying.
@JackSarfatti @planethunter56 @joerogan Sorry. Iâm not familiar with what you mean by the S term. A real valued scalar field? A Symmetric 2-Tensor that gets contracted against Stress Energy? By local frame transformations do you mean a Spin(1,3) gauge transformation of the principal bundle of all tangent frames? đ¤ˇââď¸ đ
@michaelshermer @DrBrianKeating @neiltyson @michiokaku @SethShostak @LKrauss1 Hi Michael: I am *not* working on this with the government with access to its data. I donât know that any of those you mentioned are either. Are you claiming that they have the high quality data and that they can share it??? If so, that would be huge news to me.
@michaelshermer @DrBrianKeating @neiltyson @michiokaku @SethShostak @LKrauss1 Please *do* introduce me to any and all physicists who you believe have access to this Government data.
I will report back to my followers when they confirm. Thanks!
@michaelshermer @DrBrianKeating @neiltyson @michiokaku @SethShostak @LKrauss1 Sorry. Letâs stay in the original thread Michael. Is this true @LKrauss1, @neiltyson, @michiokaku, @SethShostak? Do you all have access to this often promised but withheld high quality UAP data and video/photo evidence that the rest of us do not? Thanks in advance.
If only one group had done outreach towards me about UFO/UAP disclosure, I likely wouldnât have said much. But itâs *multiple* groups and points of contact.
And guessing isnât helpful. A lot of UFO stuff sounds *very* similar from inside the world of USG folks & USG contractors.
I also donât fault those who do outreach and then pull back. I think they are being controlled. I donât know where âLucyâ of âLucy and the Footballâ resides. It may be higher up. But we are ALL being used & manipulated w/o our consent on UAP in my opinion. Donât shoot messengers.
Will try an experiment here. There are a *lot* of questions coming to me about the @joerogan appearance. If you have legitimate UFO or physics questions from JRE, Iâm open to trying to answer 5 of them below in this thread. Trolls get blocked. Fair? Letâs go!

Why railroad physics the way itâs seems to have been? And who would want that
@HeyBradyDeluxe Quantum Gravity is potentially a cul-de-sac. The bizarre reasons for wanting to lead others into any dead end were well explored in this scene of Animal House. The character Stork was one of the main writers I believe. He had one speaking line if I remember correctlyâŚ
@Thompsonklay As far as I understand it, there isnât âThe Governmentâ right now. You and I appear to be watching factions within defense, intelligence, and contractors fight over disclosure in public. But they arenât fighting openly.
@MonkusAurelius Frightened people sending encouragement. No DOE. No DARPA. No one disputing the basic history.
Extremely quiet in both Academe and USG. Loud everywhere else.
@lindsayhickman_ We were. I donât know what the hell is causing us to self-dismantle our entire advantage over rival nations. Iâm alarmed. No scientists feel safe just doing science.
@NM_UAP The odds of âhumans fooling humansâ are way up for much of this. But the odds of something extraordinary are also way up in my mind. That gets lost.
For example, I believe we are lying about our certainty on Climate change. But I also believe that our lie aligns with the truth.
@NM_UAP So Iâm not backing off the idea that our Bayesian priors should find NHI more plausible than 10 years ago. Many claims have been made to me about fully recovered vehicles from no human society. So how do I square that with ZERO high quality public data/evidence? I have no clue.
@NM_UAP But way up is relative. Before 2017 I didnât ever care about UFOs. So my Bayesian prior is moving up from near zero. Perhaps it is in double digits of percentage now? But thatâs not the important part.
The important part is our physics history. Learn it. Pay attention to it.đ
@D_Rod_Tweets No.
That is 5. Thanks to you all! Really appreciate it. Lots of great questions. Will try to find new ways to communicate around the trolls and hate so we can stay connected. đ
Regarding @lexfridmanâs Sam Harris recent podcast touching on UFOs:
I likely would not have said much if multiple USG/ex-USG groups hadnât been in touch with me about UFO/UAP. Sam and I had at least one group in common, but it sounds like Sam only had one group reach out to him.
Itâs multiple individuals/groups. This is not small or confined. Whatever this is, itâs neither tiny nor unified. It may be a cover narrative, disinformation, propaganda, a cult, mass delusion, etc. But what it is not is a prank. single individual/group, or garden variety scam.
I canât check much due to the secrecy issue, but what I can check, checks out more than I was expecting. Not eager to say more. But thanks for the interest.
Hope this allows people to stop guessing who it was. Itâs not one person for me. Canât say it more clearly than that. đ
@LouiseDArcy1 I can authenticate. In each case.
Democracy is always âNeed-to-Know.â.

There are none.
In UFO/UAP land, very little *ever* happens at a scientific level it seems.
I have attempted in good faith to be of some use. But I am *not* pushing this angle. The door was opened, but no one walked through. As usual.
Make of that what you will. đ
Let me kill two birds with one thread. Gary is a serious scientist and Professor at Stanford. I know him and enjoy talking shop with him.
But you will note the pattern is exactly similar to the one I described as âLucy and the Footballâ on @joerogan #1945:
*Outreach from Credible USG/Ex-USG Contacts
*Bizarrely Confident Grand Claims
*Planned Disclosure on a timeline
*Last minute âChange in Plansâ
*Repeated pattern across groups
âââ
At least 4+ instances of this behavior to 3 or more visible PhDs in different areas.
This is what I can say. I choose not to say more. But this bizarre pattern is invariant. Gary is not making this up. Nor is Sam. Nor am I. Etc
Very disappointing. But it is newsworthy that this is being done to US PhDs. Why? I cannot for the life of me tell you. If it werenât for the credibility of those involved I would think it was a prank.
But I suspect Gary wasnât weeks away. It feels orchestrated *never* to happen. Feel free to draw your own conclusion however.
Ok. Back to normal life.
Thanks. đ
Note added: I expect that there will be targeting of me for speaking out about this pattern. But:
* I have had ZERO interest in this topic historically until the unsolicited outreach. Simply a detailed understanding of the bizarre history of the anti-gravity/quantum-gravity era of 1953-1973 and the modern String Theory stagnation era of 1984-Present.
*I have so far not publicly disclosed where it comes from as professional courtesy despite my irritation.
*I am under no NDA or clearance arrangements of any kind. None.
ââ
I donât think the US should be targeting STEM PhDs in this way. It at times feels like the non-consensual use of civilians in some kind of orchestrated disinformation campaign where I am in no position to tell who is telling the truth. Pretty scary actually.
He is the âDiscovery & Disclosureâ candidate:
Assassination Disclosure.
Wuhan Disclosure.
Epstein Disclosure.
Ukraine Disclosure.
UAP Disclosure.
Pharma Disclosure.
If youâre totally unethical & need these disclosures *never* to happen, Iâd recommend smearing his campaign.
As for his wildest views, Iâm up for hearing his arguments. As I told him directly, a lot of them have sounded crazy to me. But a lot of things that sounded crazy to me have come true recently. So I want to hear him talking with experts who strongly disagree with him.
But I think the big story is that this is a man who will push to learn what is going on that we canât see and accepts very little of the modern institutional narrative. Really gracious, smart and earnest in person.
I am very reluctant to speculate about how any UAP craft could get here from very far away. Why? Because I fear the USG has faked alien visitation indications and this would have polluted our science and data. I know of no standard scientific evidence of any alien visitation. None. Zero.
Assume, hypothetically, that there was such evidence. Then I *would* have guesses as to how they got here. Thatâs why the intelligence community needs to stay out of lying to our own scientists.
Get the secret squirrel club BS out of UAP/UFO. Normal secrets are important. No argument. But lying to our own scientists about data is basically self-sabotage.
Q: If we have claims of UAP invading US airspace at will and defying the laws of physics, why on earth would there be no top US theoretical physicists involved if this is a real phenomenon?? This makes no sense.
Note: âStovepipingâ, âNeed to Knowâ etc. or mumbling about âMetaMaterialsâ is not an answer to this this question. It would be an evasion of this question.
And Avi Loeb is involved as well. Neither appears to be be making any claims about objects defying known physical law.
I stand by my statement: Something is wildly off. Either:
A) Our pilots are crazy and/or liars.
B) There is a psyop gaslighting our own people.
C) We are too incompetent to call our own people.
D) There is secret long-standing involvement of top scientists.
E) There are some crazy seagull and Mylar balloon effects.
F) A cult of UFOs has infected the pentagon.
G) China and others are taking over our airspace and we are using UFOs as Ana excuse rather than dealing with the problem.
But this is so stupid to be this far in with so much bullshit.
Iâm embarrassed for us.
As I have been saying: the US Government does not have a single position on UAP.
We are watching warring factions. Thatâs why everything looks so weird.
The reports we have seen before are bizarre because they are akin to forcing rival street gangs to issue joint statements.
Q: Do you believe Claudine Gay is a top scholar and the right president needed to lead and advance our leading US university and that those who oppose her are white supremacists?
A: Read her scholarly writings. I guess my black colleagues who find her beyond embarrassing are all white supremacists.
Q: Do you believe we have a border problem we do not know how to solve?
A: I believe this is absurd.
Q: Do you believe we have a âgang shoplifting in broad daylightâ problem that we do not know how to solve?
A: I do not. It could be solved instantly.
Q: Do you believe Kamala Harris Donald Trump, or Joe Biden are fit to be commander in Chief against Putin & Xi?
A: I donât think anyone smart believes this.
Q: Do you believe we cant get to the bottom of COVID 19 and our involvement with the Wuhan Lab through @EcoHealthNYC?
A: No. And it killed millions.
Q: Do you believe we have a free press asking for hedge fund records or even the most basic hedge fund questions about a dead individual child trafficker who they report as a âdisgraced financierâ while no one in New York appears to claim to have regularly traded with him?
A: I have been told that editors claim there is no interest in this story and that âThe world has moved on.â Which I can prove are false claims
Q: Do you believe social media companies donât secretly manipulate truthful communication at the direction of government to preserve official disinformation?
A: No. I think we have the facts on this.
Q: Do you believe there is an insoluble homelessness problem in San Francisco.
A: Xi visited and it got solved instantly. Itâs insane.
Q: Do you believe the IC, defense department and US Aerospace companies are under effective federal oversight by Congress with respect to whatever is alleged to be going on with UAP threatening restricted military airspace?
A: Donât even start. This is nuts.
Q: Do you agree that it is normal for fundamental physics to stall out for 40 YEARS on a dead end and no one can get a government grant to hold a series of conferences:
âBreaking the Log Jam: Alternatives To String Theoryâ
âParticle Physics after String Theory: Other Voices, New Approaches?â
âShould we push on the closed door that says âPullâ: Gravitizing the Quantum as response to the 70 year failure of Quantum Gravity.â
A: You could save our pre-eminent scientific community from madness in a year by destroying the need to listen to those physicists who have never predicted anything that might work over decades of avoiding the subject of the actual physical world we see in the laboratory. You arenât a physicist if you arenât focused on the actual physical world. Much less a leading physicist. Itâs that simple. This is a matter of paying theorists to rebel against the failed generations of people pretending to do high energy physics while working in imaginary worlds that do not exist.
Q: Do you believe that drawing any connection between Islam and Terror is Islamophobia?
A: Ask your close Muslim friends. They will tell you all about the problem with Islam and terror if they trust you. They as Muslims would usually be FAR more âIslamopbicâ than you are if that were a real thing. Reductio Ad Absurdum.
Q: Do you believe that the CPI is a state of the art Cost-Of-Living measure as claimed?
A: It is a fake gauge to undercount inflation. Tax brackets & entitlements are indexed so it is a wealth transfer program of a size one cannot easily contemplate pretending to be a measure of the cost of living. COL is a TECHNICAL term for a measure that prices consumer well being not goods. The entire house of cards rests on work on âSuperlative Index Numbersâ of a single obscure Canadian economist who does not fully understand Index Theory. You can prove it is fake by asking the @BLS_gov how it computes COL without taking in PREFERENCE DATA, without which there is no COL possible. Itâs a fake measure to undercount inflation.
Etc. ââ
I believe this is *ALL* just 100% fake.
2024
That's not at all my intention. The answer was hyperspecific to a ubiquitous problem in UAP discussions. It wasn't a general technology space or physics space. In those spaces I would have said, "I have nothing to contribute but it is a fascinating area."
The problem in UAP discussions is that they have this bizarre fascination with metamaterials and the like. You cannot meta-material your way around the cosmos. Physics is a big field. And condensed matter/solid state/material science are fascinating. But as long as Einstein is the law of the land, we are so far away from everything worth visiting that it is all but pointless to talk about engineering ships limited by the speed of light.
More or less, the physics and science discussion in UAP spaces is always about the wrong science topics in my opinion. So I am perhaps overly brutal when people talk about the following things endlessly:
Meta-Materials
Relativistic Time Dilation to 'evade' speed of light
Wormholes-Einstein Rosen Bridges
High Temperature Superconducters
Interdimensional Beings
The Universe is made of Consciousness
Generation Ships
Angels and Demons
Element 115
Gravity Wave B
Remote Viewing as Established fact
Etc.
Why is this? Because if we are to take the possibility of interstellar travel seriously, it would require new fundamental theories to plausibly traverse the cosmos. And this kind of stuff crowds out that discussion.
So the fuller answer is "I want to talk about making this field meaningfully more scientific. If you want to repeatedly and endlessly discuss Wormholes or Meta-Materials in the absence of hard data and in lieu of the fundamental physics beyond our current picture which would make visitation plausible, I am not interested in crowding that out. I want to ask where the scientists are, where the hard data is and what theories would be needed beyond Einstein and the Standard Model to justify focusing on engineering questions. But you are free to spend your time on that if you think it is the way forward. Go for it. Best of luck."
@ChrispyHargrave @JustXAshton I would have given a fuller answer if I wasn't lost and driving.
Many of you are asking for my reaction regarding the just released @DoD_AARO report. There is much to say. I want to think carefully before saying more. I am not unsympathetic to US National Security needs in this.
In February of 2023, @joerogan invited me for four hours onto the world's largest English Language program (episode #1945) to describe in detail the mystery of potential US Government involvement in UFOs and Post-Einsteinian physics during the mysterious "Golden Age of General Relativity". It has been seen and discussed by millions as expected. I was thus eager to see how thorough this report would be by combing it for search strings raised in my research.

CONCLUSION: This report purports to have studied the questions raised surrounding UFO/UAP related research of the US federal Government. It, in fact, appears to have studied a carefully chosen SUBSET of the claims selected from among those which appear to have mass appeal to the so-called "UFO Community." It completely, or nearly completely, avoided reporting on all questions surrounding issues which have been raised in serious research and by PhD level researchers who have raised scientific questions in this area. This continues the pattern of using PhD level government scientists who appear to avoid the actual research questions most likely to involve sensitve Special Access Programs and Stovepiped Research which are compartmentalized by design. Whether the omissions are due to issues of avoidance, misdirection (e.g. so-called Limited Hangout strategy), ignorance or incompetance cannot be discerned from the information given.
RECOMMENDATION: It is simply not possible to treat the current AARO report as historically complete or comprehensive. To gain the public trust, the successor to AARO would have to expand and redo this analysis with input from domain professionals who are trusted by the public not to have an apparent agenda or government background (e.g. Prof. David Kaiser of MIT or Dr. Nima Arkani Hamed of IAS, Prof. Brian Keating of UCSD, Avi Loeb of Harvard) Otherwise, it is relatively easy for scientists to "Follow the Silence" in government reports to see what is *not* being addressed or discussed.
Today the DoD released our Historical Record Report Volume 1.
AAROâs report covers more than 70 years of the U.S. record relating to UAP, draws from interviews, archival research, and partnerships across government and industry.
Read it here: https://statics.dod.teams.microsoft.us/evergreen-assets/safelinks/1/atp-safelinks.html
NOTE: Above reference to the work of Prof. Kaiser and to JRE #1945 are included to establish that both were in the public domain, independent, in high levels of agreement, and that there was *ample* time for AARO to investigate these claims which appear not to have any impact.
Regarding "Kona Blue". I have been away from normal connectivity so I have been slow to digest this. Here is what I have.
My position on UFO/UAP has been solidly consistent for the last several years:
A) I was previously simply wrong that there was nothing to this story. I have no interest in denying my error.
B) There were almost certainly secret programs hidden within the US Federal Government that have been denied that were addressed to the topic of UFOs.
C) There is, as yet, no hard public scientific proof that any of these programs have anything to do with actual recovered craft or 'biologics' or Non-Human Intelligence or Aliens.
D) There is a history of fakery in warfare and national security that could explain this.
E) High level physicists like John Wheeler, Bryce DeWitt, Louis Witten, Pascal Jordan, Herman Bondi, etc were previously part of some bizarre secret anti-gravity efforts related to UFO programs that birthed our common era of Quantum Gravity.
F) Quantum Gravity, at least publicly, does not appear to work by historical standards in its 71 year history.
G) This state of QG is totally non-controversial scientifically, but pointing this out leads to bizarre reputational attacks.
H) There is some connection inside the US government from UFO/UAP to occult like interest in angels/demons/consciousness/"remote viewing" which makes the whole thing sound like nonsense. This may be intentional to discredit interest from those not read in to the special access programs.
I) There appear to be essentially no high level physicists involved in a supposed area of national security that hinges on phenomena that supposedly defy physical law. This is itself a MAJOR clue that gets little attention.
With "Kona Blue" disclosed, I am relieved that I would appear to be proven correct on many of the above points. I was *not* early here, but I did not overclaim either and admitted my main error. I can also reasonably claim that I was early among PhDs with relevant backgrounds regarding relations to physics.
The above points A)-I) are pretty much what one concludes when a sober person with historical awareness confronts the reality of a completely insane corner of national security. I stand by all of the above statements no matter how nutty they sound, or how conservative they sound to different parties. This is simply the state of the situation if you are not a UFO enthusiast or debunker. It's totally embarassing for our nation and made a deliberately unresolvable question as to what is going on. That is not an accident. It is by design. It's really just unconscionable that we are here.
We look like the Keystone Cops.
One question I get a lot is "What explains your asymmetric focus on Democrats and the Left?"
The short answer, after some soul searching and introspection, is simply this: "The Gaslighting of Experts."
I see the Republican party fighting the experts they oppose. I don't see them trying to gaslight them much.
Let's say you are an economist who believes that higher taxes spent on infrastructure would be good for the nation. The right may fight you. They may call you a name like "Libtard" or "Commie". And that is absolutely awful behavior to me. Truly. But they aren't nearly as likely to coordinate behind the scenes in emails to be discovered later and all agree to pretend, seemingly independently, that as a former expert you have committed some unclear moral crime that means you can never be empaneled or invited onto a commission. They aren't immediately going to treat you like a mental patient, a con-artist, or threat to society. They are just going to be asses. That's the dopey game they love: "Happy Warriors" is what they call it.
And the subjects I focus on most tend to be the places where I think dissenting experts are being gaslit:
COVID ORIGINS
SOUTHERN BORDER
EPSTEIN'S INTELLIGENCE CONNECTION
COVID MANAGEMENT
QUESTIONING UKRAINE NATO STRATEGY
INFLATION/GROWTH MEASUREMENT
MONETARY AGGREGATES AND FED INTERVENTION
VP COMPETENCY
ASYMMETRIC TREATMENT OF CONTESTING ELECTIONS and VIOLENT CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
VACCINE INJURY DISCUSSION
SEX AND GENDER REDEFINITION
ANDREW YANG / TULSI GABBARD / RON PAUL / ETC. PRIMARY MANIPULATION
SOCIAL MEDIA COMPANY INTERFERENCE
HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY
DIRTY TRICKS CAMPAIGNS / DOMESTIC SPYING
NON-CONSENSUAL HUMAN TESTING (infectious agents, radioactivity)
BAILOUTS
MAXIMALIST STRUCTURAL BIGOTRY CLAIMS
LABOR MARKET FLOODING VIA IMMIGRATION
RELIGIOUS TERRORISM
Etc.
In all cases above, there is some absolutely *MASSIVE* long-term lying and obfuscation. Not small. Not excusable. I am talking about massive lies. Lies that last decades. Lies too large to choke a blue whale.
And they incinerate dissenting experts as pretend neer-do-wells for the crime of dissenting from consensus.
What is the point of becoming an expert Stanford or Harvard professor if you can be turned into a "Fringe Epidemiologist" like @DrJBhattacharya was overnight by some washington insiders like Colins and Fauci?
To an academic: it makes life pointless. Everything we are becomes pointless if that is allowed to stand.
So, this is what I have to say: I appear to be focused on gaslighting of dissenting experts more than politics.
It's not that I don't have political opinions. I do. It's that I haven't been able to focus on them for years. All we seem to do these days is deal with gaslighting on our top line issues above.
And the formula is quite simple. An expert can have:
A) Reach.
B) Reputation.
C) Independence.
but no more than 2 out of 3.
This is a terrible rule. And whoever attempts to enforce that rule, is who I fight. Unfortunately, that group has been my own historic political party as transformed over 30 years.
And, in my opinion, they deserve to continue to hemorrage credibility for that crime against their own until they end this tactic. It's a crime against everything I believe with all my soul. We need *DISSENTING* experts to right our listing ship on all of the above and more.
Check the above list. That's no small thing. It's about the destruction of a country that I dearly love and which the world needs desperately to come back at this moment.
Thanks for hearing me out.
I do not believe a persistent slow moving âdroneâ situation in New Jersey is just a head scratcher & a big shrug.
There are too many smart high agency technical people in the US with tons of equipment, kit and sensors.
As if CalTech, Lockheed, IAS and MIT donât exist. Bullshit.
Sorry for being a moron, but an SUV sized object isnât so small that it has to be unmanned. If itâs even potentially manned, itâs not known to be a drone.
It is therefore the case that either we know they are unmanned, or they are objects that are flying and as yet unidentified.
This is within 20 miles of Teterboro Airport. Really?? Come on man. This is so dumb. Totally doesnât add up.
Two words: Lie better.
âWe have no evidenceâŚâ is not vacuous, to be sure. But Mick: this is completely insane Federal behavior. No?
What this says to me is âWe the United States of America Federal Government are either unable or unwilling to tell the public what is happening in the skies above them.â
If on the other hand the USG believes that this is simply mass hysteria and ordinary misidentification of standard aircraft, and that all lights in the sky are all accounted for so that that there is ZERO credible evidence of any unexplained phenomena: just say that.
I donât live in NJ. Tell me what is going on or say that you canât say or say that you are baffled or say that the alarmed people are being hysterical.
People want my speculation on 'drones' over the East Coast.
Let's take note of the following: I am not hearing ANYONE say "Let's get smart people together with resources."
At this point I don't take *anyone* seriously in USG who doesn't ask to convene smart people & resources.
This is simple.
A) You call up smart people & tell them it's urgent.
B) You tell them where you want them to go.
C) You send transport to go get them.
D) You tell them they have full access to information.
E) You tell them they have whatever resources they need.
If not, that says it all.
If they are not trying to figure this out, then there is some *reason* they are not trying to resolve this. But I see no signs of trying to quickly resolve thisâŚeven if the claim is that it is a panic or mass psychosis.
So, to be clear, my speculation is that I think that this is NOT something the USG wants cleared up for the public.
And I donât want to publicly speculate beyond that. That is disturbing enough.
I don't understand Mick.
As you know, I am not a believer or experiencer. So this isn't being driven by having a dog in that fight. I do believe that the USG is not honest about things labeled UFO/UAP, and that it has had extensive denied programs that, at a bare minimum, at least involve UFOs as a cover story.
But assume what you say is true. All of it. Wholesale.
Then I want a clean crisp statement from the security services that this is a giant nothing burger, and that Mass Delusion is what is going on. If this is a Mass Delusion: MAKE THAT CASE. I'm all ears. I'll help make it. Just convince me.
You write "it's just people misinterpreting what they see in the sky, combined with a lazy sensationalist media and a gov that is aware that sometimes drones are used for bad things but not really familiar with this kind of flap". Well then, *you* are totally not understanding what is going on.
Stipulate for a moment to EVERYTHING you are saying. What YOU are describing is an absurd actual security risk: a hysterical population led by incompetent mayors, with government and media that have lost so much credibility, that they cannot stop a simple mass delusion which can now easily be weaponized by our enemies. What you are describing is ALSO a security vulnerability to be exploited by our adversaries.
You appear to have no idea what you are talking about because you are *self-inconsistent*. There is no 'just' in the above sir. The Mick West version of events is still an insane situation. You are simply describing a *second* insane security situation. I am not in NJ so I have no way to know which it is...but now I know that it is serious either way.
Forgive me Mick, but you are not getting this. Happy to be proven wrong.
I return to my original belief: this is a serious situation which, for unknown reasons, the USG is not eager to resolve in the minds of the public of which it is supposed to be their extension. The lack of resolution alone is a potentially dangerous situation having to do with public trust and panic.
This is an insane situation no matter how you slice it.
Note to Self: if I ever have an unexplained aerial incursion that I donât to discuss and want to avoid calling UAP or UFO, I can always send up a haystack worth of actual commercial drones to hide a needle of UAP.
I could then get everyone to use the word âdronesâ, droning on and on about drones here and drones there so that âdronesâ gets said over and over like a drone in the background. Then everyone will use the word drone. Iâd perseverate drones into being the word. Make drones âhappenâ, if you will.
And if I did that I could hope the public wonât notice that an unidentified SUV sized flying object *could* be mannedâŚand so saying âdroneâ is a giveaway that either you know very well what is going on and donât want to sayâŚor you have no ideas whatâs true and donât want to say. Saying Drone says a lot.
Technically if an SUV sized object is airborne it is *not* a drone while unidentified. It is a UAP or UFO until identified. UAP is not NHI. And it is what we have here.
So with that said: what is happing with all of this Eastern Seaboard UAP?
2025
We have been gaslighting our own people. Why do you wish to be part of this AFTER we started getting admissions that this is real?
And for Grokers out there:
USAP = Unacknowledged Special Access Program
In the above. Our pilots, CIA officers, geospatial intelligence teams are not all merely seeing seagulls huffing swamp gas out of Mylar balloons at twilight with Venus close to the horizon.
I have no idea how many things we are lying about under the broad UFO/UAP banner.
But gravitational physics in the 1953-early 1970s is one of them. Aerospace is a second. CIA office of Global Access was another. Etc. We are lying about a lot. And that is fine up to a point. National Security canât be open.
Gaslighting our own best people? I draw the line there. You totally lost me when you gaslit our own people as unstable conspiracy theorists and mentally unstable because you canât keep secrets from crossing peopleâs paths.
This is the realm of scoundrels. How can you have National Security when you torment your own A-team? This is insanity.
@Twiddiot1776 Thatâs pretty funny. Gotta admit.
@SteveGreenwald Agreed. My tiny little corner of it is campaigning against our IC going after our own people when we stumble on their poorly structured programs through no fault of our own. Particularly reputational attacks on expert patriots through covert influence operations.
@kevinfrmoc Totally. Malibu for me outside a Thai restaurantâŚ.
I would like to talk to @MickWest and @michaelshermer and @francis_collins and @neiltyson and @seanmcarroll and @nytimes about the role of debunking and discrediting professionals who do not buy into narratives that are later found to be cover stories about national interest.
For the first time since JFKâs assassination nearly 62 years ago, the CIA tacitly admitted Thursday that an agent specializing in psychological warfare, George Joannides, ran an operation that came into contact with Lee Harvey Oswald before the killing. https://www.axios.com/2025/07/05/cia-agent-oswald-kennedy-assassination
We have a COVID=Wet Market narrative.
We have an Inflation and CPI narrative.
We have a Quantum Gravity narrative.
We have a Vaccine Narrative.
We have âAmericans suck at STEMâ.
We have a âSettled Scienceâ narrative.
We have a âPeer Reviewâ narrative.
We had a âGreat Moderationâ narrative.
We have âIndependent Journalismâ.
We have a âDisgraced Financierâ story.
We have an âAerospace and UFOâ opera.
Itâs all one thing that cannot be named:
National Interest âManaged Reality.â
We need to talk about what debunking was before it became âCovert influence operationsâ, âImage Cheapneingââand personal destruction warfare.
So letâs talk.
Are you buying into Anna Paulina Luna's narrative regarding Joannides?
Or Morley's? Posners? Ratcliffe's?
Which one do you pick, and why?
This is part of the problem with debunking.
You see, I donât know what Covid is. Is it a science project? A miraculous spontaneous mutation? A bioweapon leak?
I donât know.
But what I do know was that there was TREMENDOUS pressure to say something false about the Wuhan Labs.
Likewise here: I donât know what happened in Dallas. What I feel confidence in is that we have been lying about telling all we know about what happened in Dallas.
Same with UFOs. What do I know? Very little. But what little I do know is that too many grownups in Govt are talking about something real. That real thing could be a fake program. Or cover for physics research. Or many things.
But the debunking thing has a different energy. I appreciate all you do to explain videos and sightings that have genuinely prosaic explanations. Truly.
What I donât believe at all is that there is no use of UFO SAPs by the USG. I think we create SAPs and we ruin peopleâs lives around them when good folks canât let go of the fact that they saw or experienced or interacted with something we know a lot about.
Thatâs my issue. Discrediting behavior targeted on individuals to protect programs with claims of national interest.
What exactly are you suggesting with this "different energy"?
That I'm just not polite enough?
Or that I'm part of a disinformation campaign?
Because I'd argue against both of those.
Something else?
I think you are avoiding the reality that at a minimum, our government(s) is/are almost certainly faking a UFO/NHI presence from time to time. That we have UFO/NHI SAPs that we deny. That UFO/NHI is used as cover for aerospace at a minimum. That we do harm to our own people by pretending that everything has a prosaic explanation.
And that you are not debunking the govt bunk (at a minimum).
My issue is treating our own people like garbage. I despise gaslighting our own people. And the energy you bring is that we donât need to go to that layer.
Again: Iâm the only guy in UFO space who has seen nothing conclusive about NHI. Iâm with you on that.
But I do think there was a secret serious physics research program that was affiliated with this UFO anti-gravity stuff. I think Roger Babson and Agnew Bahnson were likely CIA or IC cutouts. I think this is all bound up in the âGolden Age of General Relativityâ.
And I wish you would stop pretending itâs all innocent mistakes, coincidences, people making silly claims. A lot of it is. Sure.
But after you strip that off, a lot of whatâs left is toxic NatSec gaslighting. And if you canât face that Iâd prefer you stop. Because you then hurt the people who got gaslit.
I am not avoiding that. We should absolutely look into topics like Yankee Blue, and Grusch's claims.
I don't treat people like garbage. When I engage with people I do so with facts, logic, and respect. I wrote a book on doing just that.
You're waving around a straw man.
Letâs find out if true.
Do you believe that the U.S. may have created âCraft?â Like deliberate mock ups in hangars.
I do. I think it is likely that some of our people had *real* run-ins with fake craft.
Do you believe that there are *real* stories from our top people and ordinary joes about fake aerial events? Like where we know what people saw, and yet we tell them it was nothing. Like a seagull. Or a contrail. Or Venus. Or a Mylar balloon.
I do. And that is where I part company with you often. Not because you are mean. But because I donât want this done to our own people, and I have never seen you aggressively go after this. If I am wrong, you have my apology in advance. Happy to make it.
Do you believe that the U.S. maintained a secret zero insignia airforce that operated by descending on citizens collecting information, and destroying and confiscating equipment / data and that it physically intimidated US citizens in large empty western states near testing areas without identifying itself?
I do. And it is so unbelievable that I didnât think this was possible until friends reported it happened to them. I believe that this had to do with the CIA office of âGlobal Accessâ.
Do you believe that @pmarca and @bhorowitz were told that entire areas of theoretical physics were taken off line by the Biden Whitehouse, while researchers have been in 52 year denied stagnation in Standard Model Physics? Which makes no sense. Why arenât we trying new things???
I do. And there has been bizarre lack of interest for any major news desk to get to the bottom of this claim.
Do you believe that there was a giant secret anti-gravity program, attached to UAP, with many of the worldâsbtop physicists within it? And that it was funded by two likely IC cutouts Babson and Bahnson?
I do. It was called the âGolden Age of General Relativity.â
Do you believe that UFOs were cover for aerospaceâŚand that aerospace was cover for physics? And that top physics people were in and out of Aerospace where they had *no* particular reason to be other than secret research?
I do. Like RIAS in Baltimore. And Feynmanâs adventures in Buffalo. And L Witten at Wright-Patt. Etc etc.
Iâm fed up with being lied to Mick by NatSec incompetents. I have my PhD in this area which is strangely unusable. No one is doing real fundamental research anywhere in physics Mick. Or havenât you noticed that this changed in 40+ years. Itâs like a medieval philosophy cult now.
This is all touching physics. Not Bokeh. Not Mylar. This is largely about the magic and power of a science that gave us god like power and then mysteriously stalled, and now cannot be restarted no matter how cheap and easy it would be to do it.
This (above) is a lot about post Manhattan Project public physics bullshit. Not seagulls.
Some of it is material science. Some of it is nukes. But gravity is in this game. And who knows what else. And quantum gravity is the nonsense we canât question. The likely cover story if you will.
I donât care about đ˝. I care about NatSec gaslighting of our own PhD level mathematicians and physicists. The children of Teller (Particle Theory), Ulam (Geometry), and Einstein (Gravity). All of whom were central to the Bomb.
Wanna debunk the cover stories? If so Iâll join ya.
"Do you believe that the U.S. may have created âCraft?â Like deliberate mock ups in hangars. "
I don't think it's impossible. I'm not sure WHY they would do it. Maybe to confuse the Russians into thinking we have advanced tech.
"I do. I think it is likely that some of our people had *real* run ins with fake craft."
Entirely possible, at least in hangers.
"Do you believe that there are *real* stories from our top people and ordinary about fake aerial events? Like where we know what people saw and we tell them it was nothing. Like a seagull. Or a contrail. Or Venus. Or a Mylar balloon."
Probably, to a degree, to cover up secret test flights of new tech. We know this happened with the U2. The degree of how much was invented and how much is just allowing organic stories to grow is unclear.
"I do. And that is where I part company with you often. Not because you are mean. But because I donât want this done to our own people, and I have never seen you aggressively go after this. If I am wrong, you have my apology in advance. Happy to make it."
Aggressively go after what? The military saying things that are not true in order to keep secret stuff secret? Some people getting hurt? Sure, ideally that wouldn't happen. But also ideally, we'd have universal health care, the lack of which ruins many more lives than hyper-rare UFO-themed cover-ups. Yes, I'd prefer less lying and fucking with people, but forgive me if I don't get too excited about such a minor (albeit very interesting) issue.
"Do you believe that the U.S. maintained a secret zero insignia airforce that operated by descending on citizens collecting information and destroying and confiscating equipment and data and physically intimidated US citizens in large empty western states without identifying itself?"
I have no idea. Probably in the past, back when the cold war and nuke secrets were a big deal. There's the singular Bennewitz case 40 years ago (driven insane, or already part-way there?). But now? I really don't see it.
"I do. And it is so unbelievable that I didnât think this was possible until friends reported it happened to them. I believe that this had to do with the CIA office of âGlobal Accessâ."
What happened to them? Vague stories are not helpful.
"Do you believe that @pmarca and @bhorowitz were told that entire areas of theoretical physics were taken off line by the Biden Whitehouse, while we have been in 52 year denied stagnation in Standard Model Physics? "
No. I'd like to see some evidence of this.
"I do. And there has been bizarre lack of interest for any major news desk to get to the bottom of this claim. "
It's because it's a cool but implausible-sounding story with no evidence.
"Do you believe that there was a giant secret anti-gravity program, attached to UAP, with many of the worlds top physicists within it? And that it was funded by two IC cutouts Babson and Bahnson? I do. It was called the âGolden Age of General Relativity.â"?
Sure, but the question is if they actually found anything. I'm not seeing any evidence of this. The stagnation of Standard Model Physics might simply be because the reality of physics is rather boring and incapable of actually giving us anti-gravity flying cars and starships. I've seen all the public UFO evidence, and indirectly heard about the secret stuff, and there's no strong case for gravity drives.
"Do you believe that UFOs were cover for aerospaceâŚand that aerospace was cover for physics?"
The former, but again perhaps more "let it happen" than "make it happen"
"And that top physics people were in and out of Aerospace where they had no particular reason to be other than secret research. I do. Like RIAS in Baltimore. And Feynmanâs adventures in Buffalo. And L Witten at Wright Patt. Etc etc."
Basic research is essentially speculative, especially in a practical setting. Stick a Feynman in the research department, and good things might happen. Worth a shot. It does not mean they are pushing the bounds of physics.
"Iâm fed up with being lied to Mick. I have a PhD in this area which is strangely unusable. No one is doing real fundamental research anywhere in physics Mick. Or havenât you noticed that this changed in 40+ years. Itâs like a medieval philosophy cult now."
So you keep saying. But there have been lots of advances. It's sad they haven't solved gravity or anything revolutionary. But I don't think revolutions in science can simply be guaranteed with bigger and more focused funding. You ascribe this lack of progress to a conspiracy, but maybe it's just because they haven't found anything.
"This is all touching physics. Not Bokeh. Not Mylar. This is largely about the magic and power of a science that mysteriously stalled and cannot be restarted no matter how cheap and easy it would be to do it. "
Well, get Peter to do it then. If it's so easy, why doesn't he just put you in charge, solve gravity, and get to trillionaire?
"This (above) is a lot about post Manhattan Project public physics bullshit. Not seagulls. Some of it is material science. Some of it is nukes. But gravity is in this game. And who knows what else. And quantum gravity is the nonsense we canât question. The likely cover story if you will."
There are plenty of people questioning quantum gravity. It's a model that seems to work, but has no real empirical evidence. It does not stop people trying other models.
"I donât care about . I care about gaslighting PhD level mathematicians and physicists. The children of Teller (Particle Theory), Ulam (Geometry), and Einstein (Gravity). All of whom were central to the Bomb. Wanna debunk the cover stories? If so Iâll join ya."
You're going to have to give me some actual evidence that this is a deliberate cover story. Because I'm unconvinced.
I appreciate the thoughtful answer.
I think it come down to this. You write:
âAggressively go after what? The military saying things that are not true in order to keep secret stuff secret? Some people getting hurt? Sure, ideally that wouldn't happen. But also ideally, we'd have universal health care, the lack of which ruins many more lives than hyper-rare UFO-themed cover-ups. Yes, I'd prefer less lying and fucking with people, but forgive me if I don't get too excited about such a minor (albeit very interesting) issue.â
If I thought that this was a minor issue I might agree with you.
I think we may have just killed millions with an escaped science experiment called âCOVIDâ. I think the government gaslighting its own scientists and intimidating those who refuse the gaslighting is an absolutely major issue. Itâs immoral. Itâs illegal. And itâs potentially world altering.
Our government is likely by far the most major actor in the science bunko story. And I want bunk out of science. Starting with Nature, Princeton, the Lancet, Harvard, NSF, and Communications in Mathematical Physics.
So that is where we differ. What you are looking at with junky video analysis is helpful. But in my opinion it is the âminor (albeit very interesting) issueâ. The major issue is government control of and subordination of science to NatSec disinformation and misinformation. Like COVID.
So we found the source of our issue. I take @pmarca very seriously on this. I want top scientists in the room who can restrain those NatSec people who canât keep a virus confined to a secure laboratory meant to circumvent our participation in the bioweapns agreements. I want physicists in the room who say âWait: why are we doing the same thing for decades that clearly doesnât work while not pursuing other paths?â I want economists saying âBut that would be faking a lower inflation number to raise taxes and slash benefits in a way that the public couldnât grasp.â
And you are more worried about ghost stories spreading unimpeded because people see ordinary things that are just kinda misinterpreted. Thatâs noble. But I donât intuit why that is the major issue.
Ă chacun son goĂťtâŚ
Thx.
Imagine you woke up tomorrow and 5 reports were released leaving no question as to the truth:
A) COVID's origin.
B) Epstein's IC connection, wealth, activity and death.
C) JFK's Assassination.
D) UFO/UAP.
E) Press complicity in statecraft narratives.
What happens the day after?
One of my greatest frustrations is the inability for nuance and ânot knowingâ to survive internet discussion.
My assertion that âwe may be faking a UFO situationâ on Rogan is independent of alien visitation. Yes, it appears that we faked UFOs! I wasnât wrong.
And yes, there still could be Aliens. ButâŚNo, I have not seen any credible evidence of this to date.
So many of you know what is going on. Congratulations. I, myself, do not.
But I do think I called it correctly on several fronts:
A) We do fake UFOs!!
B) We use UFOs as a multi-purpose cover.
C) We mentally destroy and intimidate our own folks over UFOs. Why? I donât know.
D) There is some weird tie between actual high level physics and anti-gravity / UFOs that lasted for about 15-20 years that showed up as âThe Golden Age of General Relativityâ centered around Louis Witten/Roger Babson and Bryce DeWitt/Agnew Bahnson. Babson and Bahnson appear to be âcutoutsâ who funded this.
E) US aerospace companies are not just about conventional aerospace. They also appear to be secure shells in which some theoretical research was done. At least historically. The Glenn L Martin company (Later Martin-Marietta, then Lockheed-Martin) may be foremost among them.
F) If we were smart enough to have a permanent secret post Einsteinian physics project, it would be hidden in plain sight in the age of satellites, rather than off in New Mexico again. It would be under a cover story for a secretive secure facility running through billions employing particle theorists, differential geometers/relativists and machine learning people. It would be easy to find because of that signature, but impossible to prove. It would be co-located with other institutions on which it depended.
G) We are likely not smart enough to have such a program. 10%-20% chance we are. Most likely not. Breaks my heart. But we arenât as smart as we were in the â40s.
ââ-
In my world of people who actually study gravity professionally, all of the above claims have been shocking to these PhD colleagues. Even when presented with direct evidence they donât want to think about it.
So many of you seem to know so much that I donât. You are perpetually certain.
Yet you canât prove anything.
My proposal: you do you.
I have seen no hard evidence for anything shocking beyond that list above. Which is still plenty shocking to gravity researchers.
Thanks.
Only thing i disagree with here is the UFO issue is fake. Itâs absolutely not. Look up the Bugo Sphere research ongoing in Mexico if you want to see a real UFO object. Or the UFO footage above the LA fires in Feb.
No. You are correct.
Assume even that beings were using additional hidden dimensions to traverse space and time. You still wouldnât talk like this. Itâs just mental sludge.
I can riff a bunch of equally vapid vibe terms:
âDigital Seraphimâ
âEnergetic Consciousnessâ
âDistributed Cognitionâ
âDisembodied Guardiansâ
âPlasmic Willâ
âResonance Lifeformsâ
âVibrational Travelersâ
âRetrocausal Projectorsâ
âTrans-Temporal Sentinalsâ
âAutonomous Vaccum Faunaâ
This is just super embarrassing. This is the level of us as a country now.
Am I crazy to assume that this is internally facing propaganda rather than actual interdimensional beings?
đĽđ¨BREAKING NEWS: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna just broke the internet after claiming she has seen evidence of "interdimensional beings" with credible people reporting "movement outside of time and space."
"They call them interdimensional beings. I think that they can actually operate through the time spaces that we currently have."
"I can tell you without getting into classified conversations that there have been incidents where very credible people have reported that there have been movements outside of time and space."
This comes after claims of a possible alien invasion in December by Harvard scientist, and several reports of aliens and UAPs in the last 4 years like the incident at the Bayside mall in Miami which has never been fully reported.
Something is coming whether it be real or fake be prepared.
I then asked AI to come up with equally meaningless technical terms based on âInterdimensional beingsâ. Here are the first 50 results:
1. Quantum Nomads
2.Etheric Sentinels
3.Chrono-Weavers
4.Harmonic Architects
5.Phase-Walking Entities

Respectfully. Here is what I think is going on.
I) Independent breakthrough science is in a long wind down starting with the Mansfield amendment, and is being partially decommissioned. Why? Because it was found to be too powerful and redistributive.
II) The National Security and National Interest folks now use science, journalism, academe etc to dump their cognitive sludge. Epstein cover stories, UAP cover stories, Assasination cover stories, COVID cover stories, Inflation/Money Supply cover stories, etc. That is, the organs that kept us partially free in 1975 are now used to attack our ability to think, every day of our lives.
III) Anyone not going along with I) and II) sticks out like an absolute sore thumb and is targeted for âImage Cheapeningâ. This is abhorrent abuse of power.
IV) @RepLuna isnât stupid. If she can talk about Physical Law and âInterdimensional beingsâ, she can place a phone call or two to our physicists or differential geometers/topologists. Iâm happy to help direct her to good folks.
V) The UFO community is way too recreational. What ever is hidden behind the UAP curtain is serious business. It involved high level physics as recently as 50 years ago. Then that connection got buried. I just donât know what this about. And I have *zero* proof it involves aliens or interdimensional beings.
VI) Adults who would never discuss the Tooth Fairy in public should not discuss alien equivalents of the Tooth Fairy. Alien life and higher dimensions are both super serious subjects to me. And they would be too you too if this wasnât made into a cheap farce. Space opera is just dumping cognitive sludge in the middle of a central scientific question. And I donât take kindly to it.
VII) I personally believe there are 4+6=10 =(d**2 + d)/2 for d=1+3 additional dimensions available for travel. But that would make **US**âŚ.humansâŚ.just as interdimensional as alien life. And we donât evaluate any such ideas for our own travel. We just run out the clock listening to decades of the same 20 Octogenarians and Septuagenarians discussing how they are going to solve âQuantum Gravityâ when they grow up. And we let them destroy all competitors so they can take down the field of theoretical physics and die in piece pretending they were the âOnly Game In Townâ. Which is total pure unadulterated anti-scientific bullshit. Think about it.
VIII) Nobody but nobody is this dumb. Not even the government on its worst day. This is national security cognitive sludge being dumped into science. We are 40+ years into a string theory fairy tale about âQuantum Gravityâ without asking âIs this all bullshit?â
IX) Science needs to be in a dialogue with NatSec. And it needs to tell them to play nice and cut it out or we use our vast tools to figure out what is going on because this COVID level bullshit is too dumb to be believed. We are just one or two rogue billionaires away from being able to immunize our scientists from USG cutting off all funds and destroying their reputations. Breakaway science in the public interest. It can take as few as one personal fortune in the service of science to cure this. Just one. This whole post-WWII system of journals, peer review, grants, gatekeepers etc in fields like physics, economics and math is entirely vulnerable. We need to own
X) Lying about COVID and UAP is a modified NIMBY issue for all scientists: Not in our back yard(s). Iâm just tired of scientists and technical folks being fed cognitive sludge by NatSec and national interest types we canât see. Interdimensional or otherwise.
What is the point of having elite scientists, if our government representatives bypass science and start repeating sciencey-sounding vibe nonsense to the public?
If there are âinterdimensional beingsâ, then humans are also interdimensional beings.
As are golden retrievers. Etc.
@RepLuna if you are serious about what you are saying please contact the scientific community and not just repeat stuff from the IC. Iâm happy to make some introductions to relevant people.
There is this sense I canât shake that some âUAPâ are actually Privately Identified but Publicly Unacknowledgable Arial Phenomena.
I wish we had a gross category for this PUAP, because some of these incidents seem suspect. Iâm not sure I fully believe we donât know what this is.
That the IC and our defense contractors dump their cognitive sludge wherever they want.
And that the scientific community needs to tell them âNot in our back yard.â
Science needs to push back: either treat us like we are all on the same team, or we use science to figure it out.
This video looks like a test to me. Like that sphere isnât really there as a solid metal orb.
Like itâs plasma or a gel or an optical decoy or a spoof orâŚ
Or whatever. What the hell do I know!? Iâm a pure math guy not a defense guy.
But this feels stupid.
One manâs opinion.
Bottom Line: the science community should return the level of respect shown to us by the IC/Defense/Natsec group. *Whatever* that level is.
If they respect us, we should respect them.
But I am now beyond fed up with the abuse.
If they think we are this dumb, then letâs see.
The people who ridicule interest in UAPs, ridicule interest in SAPs.
Yes.
I think the US almost certainly has at least one fake UFO program. A decoy.
Think of that decoy as putting out bad information to confuse adversaries. But what does it due to our own scientists?
Now imagine a post relativistic gravitational theory group PRTG here on earth. You would imagine that our own government would be working with that PRTG. Because that group is trying to figure out if we are trapped here, the last thing you want to do is to have the f****ng decoy program polluting our own understanding.
I think the morons in our decoy program forgot to bring in their own PRTGs. Because to a PRTG, UFOsâŚ.real NHI craftâŚ.would be key data. And fake craft is just feeding your own scientists poison and polluting their own understanding.
So we donât have ANY top tier PRTG in this game. Thatâs what makes me think there is only a fake UFO decoy program. OTOHâŚ
Can you explain your thoughts a little better?
Have you put any thought into whatâs actually going on specifically in the null hypothesis case? Whatâs this all for? Itâs not clear to me at all that there is any sensibility in either direction.
ContinuedâŚ.on the other hand it sure looks like in the 1950s we set up two cut outs and created âThe Golden Age Of General Relativityâ.
And then in the wake of Howard Morland and John Aristotle Phillips, it kinda looks like we stagnated and soft sunsetted real open research in fundamental physics with a preposterous story about String Theory and Quantum Gravity. Which makes no sense to anyone honest after 40 years of failure.
So that is pretty odd. Scientists donât shoot down new ideas for 40 years to protect one known not to work. That isnât how science works.
So that opens the question, is there a second secret physics program (like a Manhattan Project for Gravity 2.0) and perhaps a second UFO program. A non decoy. And while I see no direct evidence of NHI craft, we do have a mystery as to why the U.S. would destroy its own commanding advantage in fundamental Physics over string theory and its obvious failure. It just doesnât pass the laugh test.
The only thing I can wonder about is if we figured a bit of new physics out that lead to new Manhattan Project-level secrecy around all fundamental physics. Maybe 50 high ranking people (e.g. @SecRubio ) arenât lying with the skill of Pacino and Brando. đ¤ˇââď¸.
Something is way off. We arenât doing physics in the open any more. And we arenât asking our own people for help. So you would be crazy not to wonderâŚWTAF?
This is, unfortunately, consistent with a second Manhattan project on Gravity. This is exactly how secret science works. For example: We stagnated chain reaction research outside los Alamos and continued doing successful physics inside the compound.
Well, the first part of this is true today. We are dead in the water in university level fundamental physics beyond GR and the SM. The second part is unknown. Is there a place where you can get paid to succeed at physics rather than paid to do things which are known not to work? I just donât know.
Moral: Physics when done well and right, is very very dangerous after all. And I want us to get back to doing physics that will go way beyond Einstein.
Even the kind that goes boom:đĽ
