We need a “unit of personal freedom”.
We hear “Even one life lost is too many” & we have DALYs or Disability Adjusted Life Years.
Well, ok. Just how many *definite* units of personal freedom, or PFALYS, are you willing to trade off against risk to that one probabilistic life?
