Well, I am of the belief that destroying people is considered fair play in elections by the insiders who view these contests as their own private blood sport, to which ordinary dissenting Americans are viewed as interlopers, and thus prey. And, increasingly, very few of us outsiders seem to believe in democracy anymore, as we increasingly believe that our side must always win against the implacable foe by any means necessary, to quote brother Malcolm. April is the 40th anniversary of the US Governent neutralization of Jean Seberg. If you don't know the story, it is not really believable.
Jean Seberg, iconic blonde & star of "Breathless", joined NAACP at 14 in Iowa & later the Black Panther Party (like biologist Bob Trivers).
The LA TImes & Newsweek then ran the FBI planted story that blonde Seberg was carrying a Black Panther child. The black baby meme is strong.
So long story short, Seberg has a breakdown while pregnant, loses baby Nina, & displays the child's white body to the press. No, seriously.
I bring this up as a proxy to the killing of Fred Hampton, the originator of the 'Rainbow Coalition'. The Seberg documentation is better.

Fifty years ago, a senior editor at the Los Angeles Times came into possession of a dangerous piece of gossip, leaked to the paper by the FBI. We printed it, and the actress' life was destroyed.
