2/ With the inexplicable “Perfect Storm” death of Jeffrey Epstein & likely govt direction of our corporate press not to seek categorical denial of our intelligence community w regard to ANY link to Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophilia & traffic in minors, we MUST investigate our own IC.
3/ We would never have learned about our own Government crimes against MLK Jr, Dick Gregory, Jean Seberg, Fred Hampton & others if we the people were not in control of our permanent Government class.

The world is ready to go up in flames. The trick is how to revolt locally without the whole planet going sideways. Can it be done?
Here is the thing that I have a hard time communicating:
Revolts are essential, if for no other reason than to prevent those more significant revolutions which we cannot afford. The power of the governed must be felt by the instutions and their leaders. And they don’t feel. Yet.
We want to communicate with our leaders. But many of us are not taken seriously. We aren’t big political donors. We don’t have fancy titles. We are just people who aren’t in on the kleptocracy. That is, the gentile white shoe looting that happens daily in the corridors of power.
So how do I feel about looting & arson? Well, in a better 🌍 I‘d opt for enormous menacing protests that were sufficient to wake those in power to cut their infinite crap. But in my dreams, they‘d stop short of damage & violence. What can I say, Dick Gregory was a hero to me.
Now, I don’t know. Is there any way to reach @realDonaldTrump 74 or the DNC. Are @senatemajldr 78 or @SpeakerPelosi 80 really going to change their minds? @JoeBiden 77? Is it worth it to them to start all over now? Maybe. But they are all sufficiently old it doesn’t seem likely.
So I’m divided. I want enormous threatening protests to be over everything that has gone seriously wrong: PPE, police brutality, Chinese meddling, campaign financing and generalized corruption. But I‘m repulsed by looting & the meaningless loss of safety due to arson & vandalism.
Some will say that this is impossible. Big crowds turn ugly they‘ll say.
And I will say: study MLK. Study Gregory. Study Mother Jones. And pay attention to @KillerMike. You have to be mad to want to burn it all down. But madder still to dare to build again amidst this chaos.

For some reason I just never get up in the morning and think “How do we undo the legacies of Dick Gregory, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Ruby Bridges, Paul Robeson, Etc. so we can just have an all out race war in our heavily armed nation instead?”
Maybe I’m old. And tired.
A major connection to our past lost. He outlived an unrepentant Sheriff Jim Clark by 13 years.
We forget what non-violent protest is, so it‘s worth going back to Ghandi’s theory to remember who these people like John Lewis were.
It’s not peaceful: It was pre-committing to die.
I’m not current, but my recollection is that even Malcolm X was actually terrified to march in a non-violent protest like the one where John Lewis encountered Clark’s police thugs and horses. That was the year I was born.
So how is a peaceful protest different from non-violence?
Gandhi oddly *despised* pacifism, and actually preached the legitimacy of violence for those w/ true courage like Malcolm X, but who lacked the totally unfathomable bravery of folks like MLK, John Lewis & Dick Gregory who precomitted to *not* defend themselves or their families.
If you have never thought about how these folks actually accomplished the civil rights victories and have their marches confused for Peaceful protests when President Johnson refused to send troops , it‘s worth looking at the footage & thinking about what they did with fresh eyes.
You can imagine you would have joined such protests. I would likely not have been able to do it. We are talking about people who, if we are truly honest with ourselves, were on a totally different level from almost all of us.
