This should one day be a big deal, but it is taking a long time due to fear of “[[Jesus Smuggling]]”.

The idea is parasitzing the fitness of the duped males through the opportunity cost of missed reproductive rather than missed predation opportunities.

This is a super interesting idea to abstract the language of Batesian mimicry. Maybe it’s common but I haven’t heard it.
