Thank you for very illuminating analysis. I fail to understand your claim that Trump, with his style of exposing and rattling important issues which the PC religion buried or placated, caused the partisan inability to discuss these issues, since anyway, these issues were not allowed to be discussed in any honest manner. Seems to me that the media is to be blamed (at lease as much) as Trump's clumsy communication style. I would of course prefer that the president of the USA would have the communication and rhetoric skills of Douglass Murray but I dare to say that even that would not have protected him from the lunatic venom of the Media and the PC cult when attempting to move their cheese.
