|content=In the Space yesterday, Eric Weinstein asked where the physicists are in UFOs/advanced technology. | |||
I then asked him what his opinion on Room Temperature Superconductivity (RTSC) is, since it could be one of the most significant discoveries in our lifetimes. | |||
His response: "Not interested." | |||
This is a strange answer since RTSC may be the greatest scientific breakthrough of our lifetimes, and is completely based on physics. Superconductivity is the key to portable fusion power, green energy, computers 1000x more power than we have now, hoverboards, and much more. It could also explain how UFOs can float freely. | |||
With all due respect to Eric, this interaction shows how disconnected popular scientists are with cutting edge scientific research. | |||
