Much of the time in politics, Good/Bad should be replaced by Adaptive/Maladaptive w/o loss of meaning.

“Identity politics” is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s shorthand for “Maladaptive Identity Politics” that exploits division, resentment & guilt. Similarly for “Tribalism”.
