A lot of folks are curious about where I stand on @RealCandaceO. Here are things Iām watching for: a) as someone w/ strong support for Israel, Iām hoping Candace will talk about the need to decouple issues of police brutality against US blacks from any anti-Israel stance of BLM.
b) Iām looking to see whether sheās going to take on the Race & IQ discussion from the point of recognizing the myriad examples of Black genius we drown in as Americans, which would be unlikely under the simple bell curve argument. Not my issue, but one that upsets me greatly.
c) Iām looking to see if she builds kindness & empathy toward those she opposes. Here sheās reached out to me as a Bernie voter with generousity of spirit. But Iād love to see more of such heart & compassion.
These are all things Iāve said to her directly. So Iāll watch & wait.
But what Iām sure of is that Candace is 100% her own person who will become whoever she want to become & has the talent to make a huge impact. So Iād like to be helpful (if that it is going to be positive as I see the world) from across the aisle. A loyal opposition is important.

To my Trump Supporting Followers: Iāve always treated you with respect despite our disagreement over the idea that Trump represented an existential risk to our democracy and, by extension, the world.
Iād like you to consider how far he is away from proving he won in a landslide.
Iām prepared to lose you today. But I need you to hear this from someone who disagreed with you respectfully, but saw where you were coming from.
Your candidate does not appear to be anywhere close to proving the massive conspiracy needed overturn this election. Consider:
Hypothetically, assume that you KNEW an election was stolen by coordinated fraud. That doesnāt overturn the election.
You would have to prove that in a court and it would have to be a massive fraud. Thereād be a code name like āOperation Ajax/Bootā as there was in 1953 Iran.
Okay. Assume your man won in a landslide now being covered up by a massive fraud operation.
What is the code name? Who headed it up? When was it launched? What was the size of the operation? Who funded it? How is it kept quiet? What is the size of the landslide? How do you know?
I know that many of you feel you arenāt taken seriously by media. Iāve always taken you seriously.
But that means expecting you to be serious about your own allegations. Trump is so far failing to meet *any* expected thresholds for responsibly alleging a conspiracy of this size.
Look at MKUltra, Ajax/Boot, Mockingbird, COINTELPRO, Operation Condor, Iran-Contra, etc. Beyond what you believe is true, your team would need to prove a conspiracy. And the delta between what is now alleged v what is proven or even āalleged with specificityā is growing alarming.
Iāll say it plainly: I wasnāt wrong. He always was & continues to be an existential risk as long as he has the football. If you love him & admire his best actions, show him. Let him know that the Delta between the allegation and proof of conspiracy must now close. Love you all.
Lastly, for those who will leave as followers from this thread: Thanks for hanging in there w/ me. Itās been tough, but I really appreciate the kindness & decency most of you have shown me. I hope I reciprocated that by being your loyal opposition. So thanks for hearing me out.š

I donāt make it a secret that I donāt like the right wing calling names & mocking. I donāt like it when the left calls my friends in the loyal opposition idiotic names. But I hate it no less when it comes at me from the right. Iām sorry so many of you think itās a hoot. It isnāt.

You aren't signed up for Democracy if you think government should be dismantled each time you lose, yet must be revered whenever you win. That's just being an ass.
This court may be accused of overstepping. As the Warren court was once. Think about it.

The Supreme Court must be stoppedāand the only way to do it is to limit its power, budget, and the obscene amount of deference we pay to it. If we donāt, we can keep kissing our rights goodbye.
Note: Many will claim that their supreme court nominees were unfairly blocked. I agree with that generally. But I agree with that on both sides.

We deserve two functional parties. An adult party in power. And an adult party that constitutes the loyal opposition. Both of whom assume a nation full of adult citizens/voters with internet access and IQs above 50. So...what then is this?

This chases away every ambitious agentic young man with an IQ > 80. Our normalized revolutionaries are now the only ones with truly bold ideas. We chased away Joe Rogan to ask āWhere is the @joerogan of the left?ā Who exactly is running the ship here? Is the plan to lose the next several elections to make sure that all 9 justices are appointed by one party? Letās just admit to the @DNC Biden cognitive coverup, the election tampering, and the COVID origins coverupā¦and move on with a *totally* new @DNC leadership based on making life fairer for American Working Families.ā
We have an obligation to the country to pull out of this empistemic nosedive into nihilism completely independent of the many problems in the @GOP. Both sides need a loyal opposition.
