So far as I know have never seen this phenomena before.
Only one generation is stewarding our collective future. *Every* research university has loaded up mountains of student debt, armies of unwanted administrators, foreign STEM workers, and soaring tuition costs.
Every one.
Any attempt to question their stewardship results in allegations of agism, xenophobia, elitism and sour grapes.
But look at the graphs of any research university. They all tell the same story. You donāt even have to tell me which one. Itās a coming time-bomb.
This is E.G.O.s.
This is a crazy statement about a small generation. But an interesting one.
An even crazier statement is that the two enormous generations on either side of it know that they behave in a crazy fashion because they can. They can chant any bizarre thing in the street that rhymes and will be taken seriously because of their sheer numbers. And so they simultaneously listen to and respect GenX but fear what it do their utopian/dystopian contributions.
If elected, I would unravel every thing evil remade to sound beautifully utopian from āNo Justice, No Peace!ā to āNo Person is Illegal!ā to āDiversity Equity and Inclusion!ā to āWe donāt want no more police!ā to āBelieve all Women!!ā and would be promptly burned at the stake for doing so by a mob that secretly knew I was right, and appreciated my efforts as individuals.
Hence our disinterest in leadership. We are listened to and respected by the very people who privately know they collectively went off the rails. GenX are the friends who love them but are feared for trying to get them sober, healthy and back on track.
Ultimately, the addict has to *want* to go to Rehab. GenX has staged enough interventions to have learned this the hard way.

That is when public spirited technical Americans went from being our top U.S. asset to āElite enemy no. 1ā overnight.
The same minds who stopped the Soviets were in danger of stopping the Silents/Boomers from looting the U.S.
