@rebeccawatson, try the following. Make a dumb list of ANY large heterodox accounts run by PhDs. It’s not about “men”. It’s not about “smartest”. It’s about large accounts run by STEM folks that are not seen as institutionally captured.

In fact it would be irrational to expect that they wouldn’t do so given that this is EXACTLY the Modus Operandi of reaching out to “influencers”.
