Hello Phil : }[edit]

Hi Phil, User:KevB-ing here reporting for duty; I just joined the wiki. My IRL name is Kevin Jones. : }

p.s. – I wandered into edit history for User:Philchenva; I'm presuming it's an alternate account to this User:Phil one. Are you planning on using both going forward – perhaps one as a senior admin account and one for more general use or some such? If so, please let me know which one you prefer I regard as primary for now as we communicate further ( I'm guessing "User:Phil", as it's easier to type ;-) ).

Discussion formatting[edit]

KevB-ing (talk)-- @Phil, What do you think of this as an alternate way to format messages/replies here, for now? Preceding with a wikilinked username and following with a time stamp (both buffered by double hyphens). Instead of following with both linked name and stamp as per my preceding. And maybe only worry about indenting if going back and inserting something additional out of time sequence? --06:11, 22 January 2020 (PST)

KevB-ing (talk)-- The markup for the name at message start is ~~~-- and --~~~~~ for the following time-stamp. Three tildes for name, followed by two hyphens; five tildes for stamp, preceded by two hyphens. With discrete messages/comments/replies separated by a line space. And, meh, I'm still liking indentation for a somewhat parenthetical follow up like this; a person responding can probably reply in sequence and match their indentation to an indented 'child' which they are responding to or to its 'parent' as they see fit.
Do the smaller lead/follow name/timestamps used here look better? Adding the markup manually every time is more 'fiddly' than I'm inclined to ask of folks (especially for a repeated task), I suspect however that there may be a way to streamline with a template—or perhaps a custom addition to the editing toolbar. --06:11, 22 January 2020 (PST)

Vandalism[edit]

KevB-ing (talk)-- @Phil, FYI, someone posted a bunch of porn links earlier – here and here. --09:29, 23 January 2020 (PST)

nice[edit]

KevB-ing (talk)--

wikis are fascinating and so is our wiki's subject matter. This can be a social nexus.
